Set in 20 acres of pasture with walks to local woodland offering an idyllic surround for relaxation. A studio offers the opportunity to paint or create ceramics with semi professional tuition.

Just a few kilometres from the popular town of Riberac and just 25km from Perigueux. Situated in the heart of the Dordogne, one can use the property as a base to explore the many interesting and delightful towns of the Perigord area.

Recommended are the the visits to the local markets, the wine, excellent Foi Gras, Oysters and fine dining in the restaurants. During the summer months there are many spectacular village festivals which often end with a firework display.

The Dordogne region

A beautiful part of France in the golden triangle. Plenty of interesting places to visit, including old towns such as Beynac, Rocque de Gageac, Brantome and Sarlat. There are castles and old caves with guided tours that are worth checking out.

The summer months are warm and ideal for just putting your feet up and sunbathing, whilst Spring and Autumn temperatures are still ambient enough to keep your T shirts on.

Larger towns worth a visit are Perigueux with its fabulous cathedral and Bergerac famous for Cyrano

Riberac

Riberac is a small town very popular with English visitors and residents. The Friday market is a must for every visitor, selling among other things fine foods, such as fish, cheese and of course wine.

Brantome with its nearby castle of Bourdeilles, set on a river is a place that is recommended and offers a boat trip and one can rent a canoe.

Many local towns and villages have festivals in the summer, which can include barbecues, fairgrounds, vide greniers( a type of car boot sale) lots of fun for children and at night a spectacular firework display.

We will provide all visitors with details of activities.
