"Wonderful, intimate and cosy"

We travel to Scotland regularly and we will certainly give Lynn a call to see if the coach house is available. It's well equipped, lovely location for exploring and not too far from central Glasgow. The owners are close by if you require any assistance but it's unlikely as they have thought of everything. Till the next time

"Fabulous place, fabulous views, we will return"

The only thing that I would have liked is a washer/dryer as there is room for one. It would not stop me returning to this lovely place though as there is an iron and ironing board and a launderette in Helensburgh. It is just that they have thought of pretty much everyting else it would have been a bonus. Also, I was aware before booking that there were no washing/drying facillities so this is not a complaint.

Really appreciate you taking the time to write this review. Washer/dryer has now been installed ready for your next visit!

"Beautiful and relaxing"

We stayed in the Coach House for 9 nights and had a wonderful time. The place is fabulous if you want to enjoy beauty and luxury and feel completely comfortable. It has lots of little add-ons which make life nicer like an iPod docking station, a DVD player, dressing gowns and slippers. We were really lucky with the weather and enjoyed the beautiful view of the lovely garden and the Gareloch at all times of the day. We could even use the deckchairs and have dinner on the terrace. Sitting in front of the burning stove in the evenings was magic. Lynn who runs the place was very kind and during our stay made sure unobtrusively that everything was fine. We would love to come again.

Aros Coach House exceeded our expectations, from the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Lynn who showed us how everything worked and if we needed anything throughout our stay, she was on-hand. Lynn has mastered the 'being there' without interferring with your holiday - we came and went throughout our 4 days stay The place was truly stunning - thought has been put into the furnishings, decor - everything was there to ensure we had a brilliant rest in 5* luxury 'the wee kelpie' in Helensburgh is also worth a mention - I challenge anyone to find a better fish n chips! All in all - everythin about our experience was REAL QUALITY - thanks Lynn x

"Perfect weekend break - comfort and style"

The Coach House is absolutely lovely. The accommodation is all in one room (apart from the bathroom), but the layout makes the bedroom, kitchen, dining and living room areas into separate zones and the whole place feels comfortable and spacious. There's also a very private balcony off the kitchen / dining area. The furnishings are lovely: big sofas with fluffy cushions, spacious dining table, and very comfortable bed. We cooked several meals and enjoyed using the kitchen - much bigger and better equipped than most rental cottages. The bathroom is a wet room with a skylight - again, very well equipped and nice to use. We were there over a pretty cold and wet weekend, but were very comfortable - the central heating warms the place up very quickly and the log burning stove is great. The dvd, tv and wifi are all in good condition and worked well. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and they've done a lot to make the place feel comfortable and homely - spare tea lights for the candle holders, shampoo etc in the bathroom, and essentials in the kitchen were all nice touches. I would definitely like to stay here again!

"5 star stay!"

Everything about our stay at the Coach House was perfect. You know you have arrived at a lovely place when you are greeted by the stunning look of the place from the outside. Plus the warm friendly welcoming from the owner who took us inside and showed us around the place. It was warm and cosy the perfect hideaway from the cold weather. Holiday was faultless hugely down to this place which I would definitely recommend for any couples looking for a perfect place to base themselves to explore Scotland. Loch Lomond is a short drive away but the surrounding area is beautiful in its own right. Which is seen every morning from the view you get from the Coach House. Wonderful stay.

"Magnificant place to stay"

The photo's on the website were lovely but they really don't do The Coach House justice. The location is beautiful overlooking Gare Loch. From the large windows in the lounge area you will marvel in the expance of perfectly kept gardens of Aros House with the backdrop of the most picturesque hills and glistening water. The decor in the Coach House is extremely stylish. It definately has the wow factor. The room is split into sections with the bedroom as you enter the room complete with wardrobe and two chest of drawers. Next is the living area with two very comfy sofas to enjoy the view. The living area also has a lovely log burning fire. Tv, Video and free Wifi are also available. The Coach House has a rather special wet room with skylight windows that opens up the entire room to natural light. Beautiful. Beyond the living area is the dining area and kitchen. Both are equipt with everything that you would possible need for a self catering stay and more. The furnishings are of a very high quuality. There is also a decking area off the dining area complete with sun loungers, table, chairs and BBQ! The attention to detail here makes The Coach house something rather special. We were greeted with the warmest of welcomes and felt completely at home from the very first moment. From the initial booking request until we reluctantly had to leave both Lynn and Fraser have been extremely helpful and welcoming. It is clear that they both love their guests to have the best of everything. Thank you both for a wonderful holiday.

"Beautiful, Quiet Location in Fantastic Modern Cottage"

We enjoyed our stay at Aros House. We loved the open, modern layout and natural bathroom which were all accentuated by the big windows and lots of natural light as well as the fire place and the private terrace. We will definitely try to make our way here again as it will be great any time of the year.
