Lodge | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 6
Cynlas is a 5 acre smallholding in the top left-hand corner of Wales, just a few miles south of Caernarfon. We are on a hillside with woods, a stream and views over the Irish Sea and Anglesey. We have pigs, chickens and gunea fowl, which are beautiful birds, but a bit noisy ! Its perfectly postioned for an outdoors holiday, very peaceful, great nearby walks, and the chance to feed the animals on the smallholding, if the fancy takes you. Its close to Portmerion, the beach, some great castles at Caernafon, Conway and Beaumauris, and easy access to Anglesey and the Llyn peninsula.
The Lodge is a newly refurbished 2 bedroom holiday cottage in the grounds of Cynlas. It can comfortably sleep 4 and at a squeeze up to 6. There is a open plan lounge area with a wood burning stove which powers the central heating and hot water, and large sofas. There is a TV and wifi. The Kitchen has a gas hob with electric oven, a fridge and a dishwasher. It is well equipped for home cooking. There is a large table which can seat up to 8. There is access to a washing machine in the farm.
Outside there is a enclosed area with BBQ and outdoor furniture, which is perfect for watching the stunning sunsets over the sea.
The main bedroom has double bed, wardrobe, dressing table and lovely views over the farm. The second bedroom has a double bed and bunk beds so the kids can sort themselves out, wardrobe and desk. Sheets and duvets are provided for all the beds. The shower room has toilet, sink and shower. We provide plenty of towels.
On arrival the lodge will contain fresh milk, tea and coffee and if the hens are laying, some eggs. Please contact us with any questions
We also have a static caravan that sleeps 4-6, also available through holiday lettings

Glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your feedback. I will fix the doors and remote control, I hadn't been aware of these needing attention. A guest recently told me that the double bed was very comfortable, so I will test it out for myself ! I will think about what you said about the slate patio, that's very useful feedback.
Hope to see you at Cynlas again in the future.

"A lovely farm stay"
We had a lovely stay at Cynlas Lodge, the accommodation was even nicer than we expected and the owner was very friendly, informative and helpful. We also had the pleasure of farm fresh eggs and milk on arrival.
The bungalow itself is very well kitted out with everything you need and is also very clean. The setting is lovely and peaceful.
I would highly recommend this for families or groups of freinds

Cynlas Lodge was a fabulous find for us, we stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! A small holding with farm animals and safe grounds to wander in you will not find a more tranquil location for a peaceful break!
The Lodge itself was extremely clean and well equipped. The owner was brilliant with communication beforehand and we were made to feel very welcome with tea bags etc available for us in arrival.
We are really looking forward to a return trip to Cynlas and will use it as a base to visit attractions around the area, abs most likely a long drive down the Llyn Peninsula!
Stunning views at night, beautiful accommodation and helpful proprietor - excellent!

"Fantastic lodge on a farm!"
Couldn't have asked for a better place to be in February! It certainly was interesting on the farm - lots of chickens and fowl. My son was able to collect eggs from the hen house in the mornings.
Son also loved lighting the wood burner! Very cosy.
