Bwthyn Branwen is a traditional Welsh cottage and named after the daughter of Llyr and brother of Bendigeidfran ( translated as Bran the Blessed), crowned King of Anglesey. Both were characters from the welsh tales of the Mabinogi. All rooms are tastefully decorated to the highest standards and feature modern kitchenware, utensils and bedware. There are two bedrooms and a very comfortable and cosy open plan sitting/dinig room with kitchen area. On the ground floor there is a twin bedroom and a family bathroom with wet room (suitable for wheelchair users). There is a small front garden with paio furniture ( spring/summer only).

First floor: double bedroom with en-suite Shower room with W.C.

The North Wales region

Llys Llewelyn Heritage and Accommodation centre and is situated in the picturesque coastal village of Aberffraw in South West Anglesey. On site there is a cafe/bistro serving local produced food and delicious snacks and homemade cakes. We also have a gift shop on site, gallery, heritage room with fascinating historical information and a tourist information centre complete with internet access


Llys Llewelyn is an ideal destination for families, couples and friends. The nearest beach is a ten minute walk and is also located on the Anglesey Coastal Footpath. Cycyle hire is also available on request. Watersports are readily available all year round in the neighbouring village of Rhosneigr (4 miles away) to include windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking. Wetsuits and equipment also available to hire. Rhosneigr also has a variety of high quality gist shops, cafes, bistros and restaurants.

"Very nice cottage and holiday"
