The Beach House is located about 100 metres from the beach so it is a fabulous location for families or couples craving long walks along the coast. Enjoy the luxury of short walks to and from the beach to collect forgotten items, even with a cup of tea in hand!

The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles and 1 single with large bunkbeds. The sitting room has a TV, DVD and wifi, with a second DVD player in the bunk room. The kitchen/dining room leads to a small, enclosed private garden with decking, a great spot to watch the sun go down while enjoying a glass of wine. The bathroom has a power shower or large bath.

The house is heated by electric heaters and a log burner, so it is very warm and cosy whatever the season. The Beach House has its own Solar PV Panels making it self sufficient in electricity, reducing the carbon footprint of your holiday.

Rhosneigr is a small, beautiful village in Anglesey. It is a magnet for families and watersport fanatics - guests can learn to surf, kite surf or sand yacht during their stay. It has a great beach in the village with rock pools and large sand dunes just two minutes from the house. The magnificent Broad Beach is 10 minutes away, with wonderful walks and shell collecting. Both beaches are as good as any in the UK.

We are also lucky to have some of the best pubs, restaurants and cafes in North Wales on our door step - including the new Oystercatcher Restaurant and Will's Bar in the sand dunes on the edge of the village. Each child gets a pot of pens and an activity book on arrival, something for everyone!

The North Wales region

Anglesey is a beautiful Island with lots of history and plenty to do. Rhosneigr is a small friendly village on the west coast, blessed with its own little micro climate that produces lots of sunshine. Back on the mainland, the Snowdonia mountain range is only a short drive away.

Rhosneigr is great place for families, watersport enthusiasts and anyone who loves sea air. At the Beach House you are near the beach (1 min walk) and near the centre of the village, with its well stocked shops, excellent bistro, cafes, laundrette and local pub with good food and a play area for children. Rhosneigr has two of the best beaches you will find anywhere in the UK, with sand dunes, wide beaches or rock pools to play in, depending on the mood.

There is a golf course near by, a go kart track and the Anglesey Race Track with events and track days throughout the year. There is also a fine dining restaurant in the village, and a crepe bar that is run by the Kite surfing teacher for the area, he is the ex british champion so Rhosneigr is the place to come and learn. The Oystercatcher pub, restaurant and cafe is now open opposite the Maelog Lake with fabulous food and great atmosphere, ideal for families. Dogs have their own parking slots outside.

"Situated at convenient location"

Negatives...a little damp noticeable in corners but no smell. Three light bulbs not working. No basics of even toilet roll or hand soap. Floor upstairs badly uneven in two areas.Positives....parking o… More

Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, the pancakes are memorable. I appreciate your bringing the floorboards, bulbs and damp marks to my attention, it helps me keep on top when I've had back to back bookings. They are all being dealt with, top bunk leaping is responsible for one floor board - it has happened before, but can't imagine what happened to the other one, plus a faulty extractor fan.Claire

"Most perfect spot by the beach"

We were a family of 5 staying for a much needed break. The house had been recommended by friends and I am so pleased I took up their recommendation. The house was just LOVELY, a perfect size, nicely furnished and with a well equipped kitchen, good stock of books and games etc... The location was FANTASTIC, about a 1 minute dawdle to the beach. Claire the owner was great and gave good advice about places to eat- the pancakes are a must. We shall definitely return for another stay.
