From its enviable location, Plas Newydd offers views of Snowdon, the Lleyn Peninsular, Bardsey Island and Holyhead Mountain, as well as overlooking Maelog Lake and the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with views to the sea and Rhosneigr.

With four amazing beaches less than a mile away, Rhosneigr and its lively buzz just round the corner, plus direct access to the Maelog Lake, Plas Newydd is the ideal haven for all family members whatever their age. Having nearly an acre of ground, there is plenty of space for outside fun and games.

Guests may be treated to the sight of aerobatic displays and visiting aircraft including the Red Arrows at nearby RAF Valley.

On the first floor the large feature kitchen diner with triple aspect views lends itself perfectly to those long and relaxed meals with friends and family enjoying time together. There are also two fully equipped kitchen areas on the ground floor for guests to use and enjoy.

On the top floor with its outstanding views, the penthouse lounge with roof terrace is the perfect location for sunset drinks and tranquil evenings.

There are eight bedrooms: 3 double bedded, 4 twin bedded and 1 with a bunk bed suitable for adults as they are 3 feet wide.

Bird enthusiasts will love the variety of breeds visiting the fields around and the Lake alongside Plas Newydd. For more structured bird watching the RSPB has many sites all over the island, with one of its most visited at South Stack, which now offers an all year round visitor centre and cafe.

Just 11 miles away is the stunning and most celebrated haven of Llandwyn Island, reached via Newborough Forest. Once inhabited by St Dwynwen, the Welsh patron saint of lovers, you can today still capture the tranquillity and delights of this most amazing Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The whole of Anglesey offers an array of activities for everyone to enjoy, regardless of the weather ! Don’t forget the easy access to Snowdon, Caernarfon and all the attractions of North Wales via the A55.

Your nearest shop - just a 5 minute walk - is Llanfaelog's Post Office and General Stores. Here you can reserve your newspapers, buy local produce, ice-creams and all those holiday supplies. Open daily.

Within five minutes by car you can be in Rhosneigr’s bustling and varied collection of shops, cafes and restaurants. You can also sign up for wind or kite surfing lessons, hire all the equipment you need and have hours of fun. Alternatively you could be tee-ing off at Rhosneigr’s famed links golf course.

“Wonderful Place” I booked Plas Newydd for my mum's 80th birthday for the family. From start to finish the experience was excellent. The booking process was very straight forward and the owners Peter and Justine, very helpful. On arrival, Martin, the caretaker was there to meet us and show us around. The house is simply stunning. It is so spacious with room for everybody. Everywhere looks brand new. The kitchens are equipped with everything you need and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. This was a perfect location to celebrate my mum's birthday. The youngsters had their own space in the lovely loft lounge, where the views were especially lovely. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

“Exceeded our expectations - amazing weekend!” I booked this property for my birthday weekend and there were 15 of us staying. The booking process was easy and efficient and Peter and Justine were very helpful with local knowledge and also very understanding of the fact that coordinating money for a large group takes time! On arrival I was taken aback not only by the size of the house but by the quality throughout. On the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms (all with ensuite) two kitchens and two living areas. On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms (2 with ensuite), 1 bathroom and the most incredible kitchen/dining room I have ever seen! On the top floor there is a massive living area complete with balcony, another bedroom (with ensuite) and another bathroom. All rooms are furnished and decorated to an excellent standard and it was like living in a brand new house! The kitchen was extremely well eqipped and we found the extra fridges/ovens downstairs very useful when catering for a large group. The table seats 16 pretty easily and there are fabulous views towards Rhosneigr and the sea over the lake. Outside there is a large lawn area where we played frisbee with the dog that belongs to the people next-door, very friendly and helpful. The neighbours even turned up with candles and a lighter when we had a powercut on the first night! There was always plenty of hot water for everyone to shower and the house was warm throughout thanks to the double glazing. It was without a doubt one of the most comfortable places I've stayed on holiday. The beds were super comfy too! For the vast majority of our time there we heard no noise at all, the house is about 20 minutes walk from Rhosneigr in a nice quiet area. The only noise we did have was from the lovely cows next door, and from the occasional flyover from the local RAF airbase, which was very exciting! All in all, it was one of the best weekends away I've ever had and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. I will be trying to book again sometime in the future!

“Absolutely wonderful holiday” Having already arranged and experienced two group holidays I feared I would not be able to find a property to stay in which would be as good as the previous ones. How wrong I was to be worried. Plas Holidays house was absolute perfection in every way. In fact our group agreed it was the best place we had stayed in. Spotless, luxurious, and spacious accommodation and a lovely area. Best sleep I have ever experienced too whilst away. Peter, the owner, was an absolute gem through the whole booking process and afterwards too giving us pleanty of information on places to visit etc.. I want to go back now ! Anglesey was lovely, the people so friendly, the archaeology amazing. The Oyster Catcher in Rhosneigr is a fantastic place to eat too. The whole week was just perfect

“Fantastic weekend away” We stayed at the cottage for my husbands 40th birthday and we had a fantastic time.There was 16 adults and plenty of space for everyone.The cottage and the views are both amazing,We hired a chef for the evening and the kitchen/dining room on the middle floor took center stage for most of the time we were there,with plenty of eating and drinking to be had.We will definately try to go back.

“Absolutely Amazing House” Stayed here for a week with a large group of friends and this house was just perfect for us and we had a great time. Modern, spacious and well equipped it had everything you need to have a lovely holiday. About a 5 minute walk from local shops and about a 15 scenic walk to the local beaches make this a very well located property and makes a great base for exploring Anglesey as it is not far to the A55 to go further afield. The large kitchen on the first floor makes a great social space and there is plenty of room for everyone to eat, the large windows provide lovely views over the lake and RAF valley, many a morning was spent watching the jets take off and land. Almost all the bedrooms are en suite so no arguments over bathrooms and plenty of lounge space for watching films and tv, the roof terrace is amazing with some spectacular views especially at sunset. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful, as were the owners throughout the whole booking process. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone and will hopefully stay here again in the future.

“Excellent, spacious and relaxing house.” Just returned from a weekend at Plas Newydd. We were a party of 14, made up of five families celebrating a sixtieth birthday. The party aged from one to sixty. We found the house to be very well presented, very spacious and adaptable to all ages. The large kitchen on the middle floor proved to be the hub of the house as we could meet and eat together, whilst enjoying the views from there. The attic area was fantastic, we spent time there on the balcony watching the sun set with drink in hand - very relaxing. The house has everything you need, is very clean and newly decorated with new carpets. Enjoyed every minute and will be back again. Would definitley recommend this property.

“The Perfect Family New Year” 16 of us stayed at the house over New Year 2012. Four families with kids ranging from 4 to 9. We had an absolute ball and barely left the place except to go for walks around the lake that is basically your back garden. The kods took over the top and bottom floors while the adults hung out in the amazing first floor kitchen with stunning panoramic views. We talked about nothing else on our return home for weeks. We will be back!

“Fantastic newly renovated large house with views, hope to go again” 16 of us rented this property for a weekend, it was immaculate, beautifully decorated with everything you need. The large kitchen diner on the first floor was great, we could all eat together and admire the view. Great spaces for all age groups, the teenagers used the loft area to chill and watch TV. Great walks and easy access to the beaches. A great place, would thoroughly recommend.
