Cottage | 5 bedrooms | sleeps 10
Pant Yr Hyman has been a much loved family holiday home, now you have the chance to stay here, enjoy the very special location and make it part of your family's story too! Set in the village of Rhoscolyn, the house offers seclusion and stunning seaviews, yet proximity to the facilities of nearby Trearddur Bay.
On the ground floor, you will find the kitchen, utility room, living room, dining room, one double bedroom and a bathroom. There is a shower over the bath.
There are 2 staircases to separate areas upstairs, making it idea for 2 families! On the first floor, at one end of the house, there is a double room and a bunk room. (This is above the double room and bathroom).
At the other end of the house on the first floor there is the family bathroom, twin room leading out onto balcony (the door can be locked by key) and the master room with seating area and ensuite shower room.
Outside you will find a lawned area, perfect for children to play in as well as a rocky area of gorse land leading down to the coastal path which is great fun to explore. You can follow the coastal path round to Rhoscolyn beach and the White Eagle pub or indeed head the other way in the direction of Trearddur Bay.
There is ample parking for at least 4 cars and whilst the house accessed along private roads and tracks, there is not requirement for a 4 x 4, they are in good condition!
The house is set in an area of special scientific interest with regards to the stone and rock formations. You are very close to the famous white and dark arches. Just 5 minutes walk along the coastal path, you will find a lagoon which is great for safe fishing and bathing.

The North Wales region
Rhoscolyn is situated on the western coast of the beautiful unspoilt Isle of Anglesey, close to the village of Trearddur Bay With its sparkling clear waters, rocky coves and safe sandy beaches, it is the ideal spot for a fun filled family holiday or a relaxing break. Sailing, surfing, kayaking, fishing, diving, walking , cycling, golf and motor sports are just some of the activities on offer in the area.
If you can tear yourself away from the property, Rhoscolyn is well located to explore the rest of the island, there is plenty to explore; each coast line has a unique character and different landscape. On the island we have a super art gallery and museum at Oriel Mon; the perfect place to find out about the fascinating history of the island going back to bronze age and roman times. For children there are plenty of attractions including Pili Palas butterfly farm, the Foel Farm and Chocolate factory on the South coast. The particular favourite is the eco friendly fun park Greenwood Forest Park over in Snowdonia.
Views over to Snowdonia and Lleyn penninsula dominate here and no visit to the island would be complete without a visit to our majestic neighbours!
Rhoscolyn covers an area of heathland and cliffs on the western coast of Anglesey and is mostly scattered farmhouses. There is a quiet beach at Rhoscolyn which would be around a 30 minute walk from the property, although there are also little coves off the coastal path much. The very popular White Eagle pub is in Rhoscolyn and would be about a 20 minute walk from the house and is lovely for either a chilled lunch on the terrace or an evening meal.
The nearby village of Trearddur Bay offers a few more amenities should you want them, a general store, cafe, a couple of pubs and the very popular main beach with boat launch facilities.
