'Summer Memories' studios are ideally located, with communal swimming pool and pool bar. The studios are very spacious. It will take you only five minutes to get to the beautiful sandy beach or to the centre of Pefkos where you will find bars and restaurants. In addition, there are supermarkets within a walking distance from the studios. By the swimming pool area are provided free sunbeds. There is separate swimming pool for the children. The pool bar serves snacks, meals and drinks. Around the swimming pool area there is pool table, air hockey, large TV screen with satellite channels.

'Summer Memories' studios are located in Pefkos resort of Rhodes island. Pefkos, one of the most famous tourist resorts of the island of Rhodes, in Greek means 'pine tree' which gives you an idea of the local scenery and while it has grown from a sleepy little bay into a lively small resort with a long beach and a very clean sea with good watersports, the sands here are not as crowded as they get in neighbouring village of Lindos. With less watering holes and packed discos but still a number of delightful tavernas, the pace is quieter, slower in tempo, and somehow a bit more Greek. For a laid-back time, with a night or two in Lindos for serious fun, Pefkos offers the best of both worlds.

With all the delights of Pefkos on the doorstep you wouldn't know it from the relaxing atmosphere which prevails here. 'Summer Memories' studios are newly built, modern and very spacious and even the sandy beach is only 300 metres away if you ever want to leave the inviting pool and its welcoming bar.

Rhodes / Pefkos Resort area

Pefkos resort is only 3 kilometres from the famous ancient village Lindos. You can get there easily, either by bus or by taxi. Lindos, is the main tourist destination on the island. The village is famous for its Acropolis with the castle of the Knights, the traditional architecture of the houses, the narrow alleys, the beautiful sandy beach and the very active nightlife. Lindos was famous in ancient times for its naval force. Today the 700 inhabitants make their living almost exclusively from tourism. From here you can easily reach the southwest part of Rhodes with the picturesque villages and fabulous beaches.
Lindos can also be reached by boat from the Mandraki harbor.

Summer Memories studios are only 25 minutes (by car) far from the famous golf course of Rhodes island.
Glass boat of Pefkos:
In Pefkos beach there is a daily tour by glass boat from Pefkos beach to Lindos beach and back. Therefore, you can enjoy the beautiful coastline.
Wind surfing in Prasonisi:
In the bottom of the island there is a resort called Prasonisi, which is 38 kilometres (30 minutes by car)from Pefkos resort. Prasonisi is an ideal place for wind-surfers. Hundreds of them visit Prasonisi every year.
Saint Paul's bay (in Lindos):
In Lindos, apart from the Acropolis, you can visit the beautiful, romantic Saint Paul's bay (the scenery is fantastic). In this bay there is a monastery of saint Paul. Many couples choose to get married to Saint Paul's monastery. Therefore, Saint Paul's bay is an ideal place for couples who would like to get married to a romantic and picturesque place.
Waterpark: One of the largest and most fascinating waterparks in Europe is the waterpark of Rhodes island. It is 30 minutes drive from Pefkos resort and 'Summer Memories' studios.

How to get there

Fly to Rhodes island (Diagoras Rhodes airport). Pefkos resort is 50 minutes by car from Diagoras Rhodes airport.
Cheap flights available from britishairways from Gatwick to Diagoras Rhodes airport.
Expect to pay around 40 Euros for a taxi ride from the airport (recommended) to Pefkos resort.

Studios for up to 3 persons are very spacious and provide one double bed and one single bed. However, there are some studios which provide 3 single beds. All studios for up to 3 persons provide sea and pool view and their own private balcony. Cots are provided if requested. On the ground floor, there are studios for 2 persons with 2 single beds, which provide our beautiful garden view. All studios include kitchenette, refrigerator, 2 electric rings, kettle, Shower and wc, Safety deposit box , air conditioning. There is maid service 6 times a week. Linen and towels are provided. We strive to have each one of our rooms be uniquely decorated and spotlessly clean. Our staff will take great care of you while you stay with us. Our studios are ideal for couples and families, since Pefkos resort is a quiet and picturesque place. Ground floor studios have wheelchair access.

There are two outdoor shared swimming pools. A large one for adults, and a small one for children. By the swimming pool area are provided free sunbeds. The pool bar serves snacks, meals and drinks. Around the swimming pool area there is pool table, air hockey, large TV screen with satellite channels. Once a week, pool table competitions, quiz nights as well as karaoke nights are organised. Around the studios there is a beautiful garden (shared), full of flowers and free parking space.

Comments: Having visited Pefkos before, Summer Memories was ideally located in the centre of Pefkos, having access to several well stocked mini markets and restaurants whilst not being noisy. The Staff at Summer Memories were fantastic. Very friendly, hospitable and with a genuine desire to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The complex had a lovely pool with plenty of sun loungers, pool tables, dining areas, baby pool etc. Cost of fan and safe hire was very reasonable. Big thank you to George in particular and his wonderful slush puppies!

Comments: The apartments we stayed in were spacious and very well maintained.The resort itself had a sleepy feel to it during the day but at night was busy but relaxed.The resort has a lovely sandy beach with good eating and drinking facilities nearby. All in all a thourably enjoyable holiday.

Comments: Absolutely loved these apartments. Brilliant atmosphere here among all the guests during our stay, everybody mixed so well around the pool and in the bar in the evenings especially on Karaoke & quiz nights. These were organized by Stavros the owners son. Guests came back to the bar most nights after their evening meal in one of the many fantastic restaurants in this resort. Comments: Second visit to the Summer Memories. Booked directly with very friendly owner via their website, which is very easy to find!
