This accommodation is in an ideal situation for the ultimate relaxing getaway. There is a road leading upto the villa complex from Afandou village therefore a car is highly recommended. However, the village of Afandou is still close enough to enjoy what this beautiful area has to offer.

The Aegean Islands region
Afandou is one of the larger villages on the island of Rhodes, which combines a lively Greek community with a wide variety of facilities and attractions for holiday-makers. Situated on the Mediterranean east coast of Rhodes, it has a cosmopolitan atmosphere with a vast selection of restaurants, tavernas and bars.
Whether you want a lively time or an authentic Greek experience you will find it here in Afandou. You could also treat yourself to a round or two of golf on the only golf course on Rhodes Island. The resorts of Lindos, Rhodes Town and Faliraki are all within a short taxi ride.
Other nearby places to visit include The Water Park at Faliraki, Aquarium - Hydrobiological Station of Rhodes, Rhodes to Lindos via Rhodian Sea Cruises and Valley of the Butterflies. A local bus also operates from the village.
Rhodes / Afandou area
The Afandou village architecture conforms to the typical Rhodes island style, and according to one story, the village got its name after it relocated from an initial site close to the beach, to an interior position where it could not be seen by the pirates who constantly raided the coasts of Rhodes in the middle ages.
Well worth a visit are the church of the Virgin Mary, the museum and the small factories making hand-made carpets. You might also like to walk along the small streets and eat in one of the many inviting restaurants.

There are a number of low budget airlines that fly to Rhodes including Thomsonfly, Easyjet, Jet2 or a great website is www.airflights.co.uk.
There are a number of car hire companies at Rhodes airport including Budget, Avis, Sixt, Hertz etc but if you prefer there are more car hire outlets in Afandou village. Please enquire with us about car hire and taxi transfers and we will endeavour to accommodate you with these.

Further details indoors: The villa is semi detached and spread over two floors. The villa comprises of a very spacious kitchen with dining area with patio doors leading to gardens and pool area.
The kitchen is well stocked including oven and hob, sink area, family size fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron & ironing board and all relevant kitchen utensils, cutlery, pots, pans, crockery etc.
The living room is modern and spacious with patio doors leading to balcony which boasts beautiful views towards the beach and Afandou village. Tastefully decorated with dark brown settee which converts to two single sofa beds, coffee table and entertainment display unit complete with flat screen LCD television, DVD player and CD music system.
The dining area has a dining table situated in the large open plan kitchen area which seats six people for indoor dining.

A high chair and travel cot can be provided on request. Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
