The Villa was completed in 2006 and is Greek owned, which somehow gives it a more hospitable edge over other similar properties. The owner has paid the utmost attention to detail both inside and out, the garden and patio are walled in and so private that you feel like you are cosily contained in a courtyard.
The house could be used as a base to explore the glorious island of Rhodes or as a sunworshippers paradise where you never had to move from the poolside! Couples, friends or families will be equally at home and well catered for by the facilities in the house and garden. With the village of Lindos and the resort of Pefkos close by you are within easy reach of many amenities whilst enjoying the peace and relaxation of your own private villa.

The Aegean Islands region
The region Rhodes is the largest island in the group known as the Dodecanese. It is the 3rd largest island in Greece and is positioned south east of the mainland close to the coastline of Turkey. Its positioning makes it popular with sun worshipers as the island is said to enjoy more days of sunshine than any in the med.
A testament to the sun god, helios who claimed the island for himself, Rhodes rose out of the sea more than 2000 years ago. With that life span you can only begin to imagine the history of this mountainous isle. One thing is for sure, if you love the sun and you love Greece, Rhodes will not disappoint.
Rhodes / Lindos area
The Lindos/Pefkos area is an excellent choice for couples or families.

Climate and Weather The temperature soars in July and August and is often hovering around 40 degrees. April and May are months of few tourists and great for nature lovers as the island is a carpet of wild flowers. Winter rain fall produces an emerald isle of spring greenery and lush vegetation. June sees that island starting to get busy with visitors from every corner of Europe. Luckily mile upon mile of sandy beaches mean that even in August you will still find a spot on the beach to soak up some sun and sea. The winter climate is very clement which makes Rhodes an ideal spot for some winter sun. However be prepapred to the island as it is with no tourist trappings.
How to get there

During the winter months the island is accessible via flights to Athens and internal flights from Athens to Rhodes which fly approx 6 times a day. British Airways and Easy jet offer flights to Athens, internal flights are operated by Olympic Airways and Aegean Airlines. Olympic airways also offer connecting flights from Gatwick, heathrow and Manchester via Athens.

Ferries Ferries operate to and from Athens (Pireaus) daily Rhodes is well connected to other Greek Islands as well as Marmaris in Turkey Ferry timetables are not usually available until April/May as this is when the routes are decided.
Car hire Full details and prices can be sent on enquiry. We can offer excellent rates from a local company. Cars are also delivered to and from airport free of charge. Parking is available outside the house.
Taxis Taxis are available at the airport but there are long queues in high season. We can pre book private taxi transfers for you.

Further details indoors: As you enter through the front gate an enclosed, private garden gives you your first impression of the Mediterranean style villa. The sparkling blue waters of the pool glitter and wink at you as you walk past to the front door and patio.
On the ground floor through the front door a modern and well equipped kitchen occupies a large, light space and will satisfy your needs whether you only use the kitchen to make a morning coffee or cook a gourmet meal This open plan area fflows through to a comfortable lounge with stylish furniture and TV, DVD and stereo at your disposal.
A staircase leads up to the top floor where you will find a bedroom with a sofa bed which becomes a double. This room has its own en suite WC and shower. Patio windows lead out on to a large balcony ideal for sunbathing or watching the sun set and rise. A further staircase leading from the ground level takes you down to semi-basement level where a further 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin) are located. A good sized family bathroom with bath and a utility room houses the washing machine.
Further details outdoors: Towering clay pots and comfortable sunloungers adorn the patio alongside wooden table and chairs for outdoors dining. The pergola covering the patio is also tiled which acts as a welcome shield against the roaring midday sun.
A super spot to sit and watch the sun rise or set and listen to the sounds of the Greek countryside. The private garden and pool are at your disposal to enjoy the amazing weather we enjoy here on Rhodes. The large balcony accessible from the 1st floor also offers a private spot to enjoy fantastic views of Navarone bay and is furnished with a small table and chairs as well as sun loungers.

Conditions
20% deposit is payable on booking to secure the dates. Balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. A 200 euros security deposit must be paid on arrival and will be returned on satisfactory hand over of the villa on departure. Payments to be made by bank transfer.
