The Aegean Islands region
Rhodes has more days of sunshine than any other island in the Aegean. It is a cosmopolitan island where you will find every thing from amazing beaches to medievil castles, throbbing nightlife to deserted beaches and sleepy villages. You can enjoy horse riding, golf, scuba diving and of course relaxing!
The 18 hole, par-73 golf course (6800 yards), designed by Britains world famous golf course architect, Donald Halladine is located in Afandou approximately a 30 minute drive by car.
A 30 minute drive away you will find the water park in Faliraki, one of the largest in Europe and a great day out for all the family.
Rhodes / Pefkos Resort area
The beautiful sandy beaches of Lardos and Pefkos, winner s of the European Blue Flag Small Pebble & Sandy Beach Award, are known as some of the best beaches on the island. Crystal clear waters, and gently rolling surf make for an idyllic atmosphere for fun in the sun, or relaxing on the many sun beds under the shade of an umbrella. Also, there are many Tavernas along either beach where you can get a chilled drink or a quick snack while you soak up the sun.
In Lardos village you will find a true village atmosphere with the centre of activity the village square, but much more besides along the roads leading off the centre. On the outskirts of the village is a great Go Karts track where all the family are welcome. In the resort of Lardos you wiill also find a crazy golf course as well as many tavernas and cafes.
Likewise the resort of pefkos has everything to offer that a modern resort should. A good choice of restaurants and bars, many with play areas for the children. Postal services, ATMS and a resort doctor are also available.
The Lardos/Pefkos area is an excellent choice for couples or families.

Climate and Weather The temperature soars in July and August and is often hovering around 40 degrees. April and May are months of few tourists and great for nature lovers as the island is a carpet of wild flowers. Winter rain fall produces an emerald isle of spring greenery and lush vegetation. June sees that island starting to get busy with visitors from every corner of Europe. Luckily mile upon mile of sandy beaches mean that even in August you will still find a spot on the beach to soak up some sun and sea. The winter climate is very clement which makes Rhodes an ideal spot for some winter sun. However be prepapred to the island as it is with no tourist trappings.

Further details indoors: The house is split over 2 levels. As you enter through the front door on the top level a small hall will take you to 3 comfortable bedrooms, all with fitted wardrobes and balconies. A family bathroom with a corner bath and wc is also situated on the first floor.
Down stairs takes you to a lounge with a fireplace and plasma TV and DVD player. A CD player and radio are also at your disposal. A beautiful modern fitted kitchen with all mod cons offers a great place to prepare a meal should you tire of eating out! A dining table and breakfast bar are also located in the kitchen.
A further shower room also houses a WC and washing machine.
Further details outdoors: Large balcony doors make the area a lovely light space and lead out onto a huge patio area eqipped with a bbq and ample furniture for louging and dining.
The close proximity to the beach is a plus for all those sun worshippers. The house is also ideally located between the resorts of Pefkos and Lardos, close enough to all amenities but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet.
The whitewashed village of lindos is just a 5 minute car journey and also offers historical interest with the acropolis as well as Greek charm and character of this pedestrianised village.
