The beach is approximately 2.5km away and offers various watersports including jet skiing and paragliding. The famous historical town of Lindos is just a ten minute drive away and has something for everyone- market streets for shoppers, the beach for sun-worshippers, the acropolis for history lovers and great restaurants and bars for the evening and into the early hours.

Rhodes offers something for everyone- with beautiful beaches and superb mountainous areas that offer stunning scenery and walking opportunities. The new Rhodes Town is a cosmopolitan town with many designer shops and cafe bars/ internet cafes. From Mandraki Port you can visit other Greek Islands by boat/ferry, including Kos and Symi and also Turkey.
Rhodes / Kalathos area
Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese islands. Lying approximately 11 miles (18 km) to the west of the Turkey,Rhodes is situated between the Greek mainland and the island of Cyprus. Rhodes Town is the island's capital and a major economic, commercial, tourist and cultural centre of the Aegean. Historically, Rhodes was famous worldwide for the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The medieval Old Town of the City of Rhodes has been declared a World Heritage Site. Today Rhodes is a major international tourist destination.
Sample some traditional Greek dishes in one of the local tavernas, or enjoy an evening drink with fellow holidaymakers and the locals in one of the welcoming bars.
During the day, take a stroll down to Kalathos beach, a 10 minute walk from the village, to enjoy over 10 miles of beautiful, clean and peaceful beach. There are also a number of beachside tavernas where you can have a relaxing lunch.
