Situated within the scenic Lindos Vlicha Bay & Beach Resort area this hillside villa is now taking bookings for 2008 onwards. A meticulous specification and design, 3 bedrooms (2 with sea view balconies) sleeps up to 6 people. The beds are of excellent quality to maintain the luxury even in your sleep! The contemporary features are sympathetically fused with historic Rhodes and offer spacious accommodation. 2 bathrooms. Fitted kitchen and open plan dining and living area. The villa will also have a comprehensive entertainment package at your disposal-including Hi Definition televison, large DVD and book library and the most up to date Playstation 3 with games.
Walled gardens contain a large, private, overflow pool. All main living, sleeping and recreational areas are also afforded what is undoubtedly the main selling feature and that is the views! The elevated position offers sensational, south facing, front line, uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean Sea, Vliha Bay and beach and mountains-capes include Cape Aemilianos.

The Aegean Islands region
Rhodes lies approx 11 miles (18 km) to the west of the Turkish shores, situated between the Greek mainland & the island of Cyprus.

The interior of the country is mountainous, sparsely inhabited,with the occasional,unspoilt villages and covered with forests of Pine and Cypress. In terms of flora and fauna, Rhodes is closer to Asia Minor than to the rest of Greece. The Aegean Sea & the Mediterranean Sea provide breathtaking coastline.

Villa Lindos Kalliopi is superbly positioned very close to Lindos,one of the key attractions of Rhodes. World famous and packed with history,tradition,charm,fine dining and an array of activities that cater for all tastes. As well as the quiet beach area & cove of Vliha Bay that Villa Lindos Kalliopi overlooks,you have nearby Plakia beach at Pefkos. We also recommend a 15 minute drive to Glistra beach-another "secret" gem.
Climb towards Mount Profitis Ilias and the forest filled route will take you to sites many a tourist never venture. One such site is a 14th Century Byzantine Chapel,named Nikolaos Foundoukli (Saint Nicholas of the Hazelnuts)and is worth a visit for the magnificent and ancient wall paintings inside.
* Other highlights we can suggest are Monolithos Castle perched on a rock 787 feet high and dating from before 1480,you will enjoy the most amazing views.
*The village of Siana stands on the south side of the 823-m high Mount Akramytis and is famous for exquisite honey & the impressive church of Agios.
*Hunt down the quaint water side taverna when you drive down the glorious Glyfada Bay. Our personal favourite place on Rhodes!
*You could choose the odd Winery,Olive Grove,a sandy or a pebble beach,breathtaking archaeological sites,a quiet life or a vibrant night life-Rhodes is the perfect place to find absoloute balance.

How to get there
During the summer season on Rhodes (March-October) many airlines offer low cost travel direct to Rhodes. These include BA , Thompson Fly , XL Airways , Fly Thomas Cook. A simple Internet search will show many options from many UK airports.
Car hire: We always use Holiday Autos who are at Rhodes Diagoras airport with either a car waiting if you have pre booked or even if you just arrange when you arrive. This company however is one of many that offer competitive prices on vehicle hire so plenty of choice and great deals. The drive to Villa Kalliopi is approximately 35-40 minutes and the roads are excellent and simple to navigate.
Taxi to Villa Kalliopi from the airport is around 30 euros.
There are many flight options when it comes to reaching Rhodes in the winter months.
UK flights direct to Rhodes cease at the end of October and resume in March,but with many daily flights from Athens to Rhodes you can reach the island in no time and is a straightforward connection. Olympic Airlines and Agean Airlines are amongst those that fly the winter months.

We appreciate strictly no smoking inside the villa.
A £250 security bond is required when you pay your remaining balance and will be held by us and returned to you immediately after your holiday providing we have confirmation no damage has occurred during your stay.
Arrival time is after 4pm. Villa Kalliopi must be vacated by midday on day of departure.
