About the home

The Olive Yard House is a wonderfully designed cozy stone built house, set in a big olive yard. The style of the house is that of a country house, with rustic olive green wood doors and windows and wooden furniture everywhere, all decorated with beautiful flowers painted by the owners’ girlfriend. The house has a lovely garden full with flowers and lovely trees. There is a big mulberry tree hanging over the small pond with gold fishes, on the side of which are some nice loungers. One can walk around for hours in the surroundings, relax on the veranda, lye on the hanging bed outside which even has a mosquito net around it, or make a fantastic barbecue outside. If you are looking for a real relaxing holiday away from all the tourist hassle, then this is the right place for you. If you are driving, there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
Further on the land is a chicken house where the chickens have lots of free space, and a bit further again is the big vegetable garden which is watered by the old well that we have put into use again.
The house has a separate bedroom and a sleeping place in the second living room. Both of these rooms have 2 double beds. Both of the spaces with the beds have a fire place. And they are stone built, which keep them rather cool in the summer and warm in the winter. From all the windows all around the house, one has a magic view on the old olive trees that were planted by the ancestors of the family.
The first space of the Olive Yard House is a space with huge windows, like a serre. In this space there is a dining table for six and a computer table.
There is an arch like opening that lead to the kitchen and the bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and nicely spacious. From another door you get into the second living room, in which the double bed is located and the fireplace and tv. Through this room one finally reaches the last bedroom.

Facilities

The interior facilities are simple, as should be in a country cottage, but very sufficient. There is enough sitting and dining space, and all is done with a very happy design, colors and simplicity but nevertheless sufficiency is the main character. The place has 2 bedrooms with double beds. But there is a double sofa bed and a single sofa bed in the living room as well, so if wished for, the amount can easily be expanded to 6 or even 7 persons. And of course let's not forget the little ones.

Further details outdoors:
The house is located on a big lushious olive yard. The house itself has a garden as well in front of it, that is fenced so that the small ones cannot get out of here if so desired by the parents. There is a small pond in this garden with some fishes, and the garden is full with flowers. Above this garden is a big pergola with grape vines over it, so that in full summer this is fully covered for maximum shadow. There is a double hanging bed as well so one can doze away while rocking and sleeping on the bed outside. The pool is cleaned with non-chloric measures and therefore very well suited for children and just as nice as going to the beach and sea.

Conditions

The price for the house is based on the occupancy of 4 persons. Every extra person is charged an additional 70 euros per person per week. There is a one time final cleaning fee of 90 euros.
