BookThe Aegean Islands region
Lindos, a beautiful oasis, on the " Sunshine Island " of Greece. The land of " Helios " the sun God. A UNESCO world heritage site, with the stunning Acropolis overlooking Lindos, and the surrounding bays. It's small, carless, streets thronging with visitors from afar, full of small bazaars, shops and lace, restaurants and Tavernas. Captains houses, synonymous with Lindos, nestle among ageless buildings, the beautiful Aegean never far away.
The Rhodes / Lindos area
Rhodes and Lindos, evoke thoughts of sandy beaches, and crystal clear waters. But, there is much more to the island than just sun, sea and sand. Families and children head towards the waterpark at Faliraki, Watersport enthusiasts from all over the world head for Prassonissi, where the Aegean, and the Mediterranean meet. Tourists in their thousands head for Rhodes Town, the " Old Town " steeped in history back to the eras of the Knights, and mandraki harbour, home of hugely impressive cruise ships, private yachts, and local charter boats. The beautiful island of Symi, a " Greecian Sorrento " is but two hours away, on a very pleasant cruise, the most beautiful harbour in Greece.

Me and my best girl friends travelled to Lindos in June of this year to stay in Simon and Di's lovely villa and we weren't disappointed! It was a beautiful property with all the ameneties we could have hoped for and more (ie the hot tub!!). We had a fantastic time- Lindos is such a lovely town with great beaches and beautiful white cobbled streets. Despite the temperatures soaring we managed to have a relaxing time in the villa with the great pool to cool off in. Any little problems or queries we had were dealt with quickly by Scott and Shelly and we felt well looked after. The villa was well maintained and the beautiful gardens added to the peaceful feel. Overall a GREAT holiday and we would fully reccomend this property! |
