Home description
Completed in 2009, the villa overlooks the beautiful Vlicha Bay. Offering everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing holiday, while providing the perfect base for touring the island of Rhodes. Villa Caterina is a short stroll, approx 200m, from the clear waters of the sea at Vlicha beach, and the tavernas and mini-market nearby mean that a car is not essential. The villa offers light and airy air-conditioned accommodation, with 3 double bedrooms, all with sea views, 2 bathrooms, living room, outside dining area, and its own private swimming pool, with sunbeds and parasols. A double sofa bed enables the villa to sleep a maximum of 8. The historic town of Lindos is 5 minutes by car.

The Aegean Islands region
The Greek island of Rhodes is approximately 11 miles south west of Turkey, in the Aegean Sea. Famous for its Colussus, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the island offers something for everyone, from medieval castles, to beautiful beaches and bustling shopping centres.
Rhodes has an average of 300 days of sunshine per year and the area around Lindos, where Villa Caterina nestles in the hillside, is the warmest area of the island. The clear waters of the sea are ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving.
Rhodes / Lindos area
The nearest shops and tavernas are in Vlicha Bay itself, a few minutes walk away. A larger supermarket is only 3 minutes drive by car. A ‘must see’ for any trip to Rhodes is the historic town of Lindos, and this is only 5 minutes car drive from Villa Caterina. Here the ancient acropolis dominates the town, and if the walk up to the acropolis looks daunting, it is possible to take a donkey ride through the winding streets up to the top!
The golf course at Afandou is 20 minutes' drive. This 18 hole course is open to the public all year.
Europe's biggest water park is only approximately 25 minutes' drive away.
How to get there
Rhodes Diagoras International airport is only 40 minutes' car drive from the villa. The major flight companies, including budget airline Easyjet, have direct flights to Rhodes and it is also possible to take an indirect flight via Athens. Well known car hire companies such as Europcar, Holiday Autos, Hertz etc operate here as well as many local Rhodes firms, and we are happy to help you choose the right one for you. You can collect your car from the airport and deliver it back to the airport on your departure. The port of Rhodes is approximatley 40 minutes' drive from the villa; ferries sail between here and mainland Greece, other Greek islands and Turkey.

Further details indoors: The villa is fully air-conditioned. The air conditioning in each room in each room is individually controlled by a remote control handset, ensuring your complete comfort. Cot and high chair provided. Cool box and freezer blocks provided. The large sofa in the living area converts to a double bed, enabling the villa to sleep 8. The kitchen is equipped with all the utensils and crockery you need, catering for up to 8 guests. If you have a special occasion during your visit we will be happy to arrange flowers/champagne/balloons etc for you (this is an extra and the cost is additional to the rental price). We can also assist with wedding arrangements or renewal of marriage vows - please let us know if you would like further details. We kindly ask that guests refrain from smoking inside the villa.
Further details outdoors: The villa has its own private 8 x 4m swimming pool, for the sole use of guests. The pool is surrounded by patio and is complete with 8 sunbeds for relaxing by the pool while enjoying the stunning views of Vlicha Bay. A barbecue is provided here for you, and outdoor dining furniture for 8 guests. Car parking is at the rear of the villa.

The property is managed for us by an English speaking company in Rhodes. A local representative is available to help with any queries you may have, as well as providing 24 hour emergency assistance.
The rental price is for the whole property and up to 8 guests. All linen and towels (not beach towels) are provided and will be changed weekly during your stay.
Conditions
A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 8 weeks before arrival date, together with a refundable breakage deposit of £200. Payment may be made in pounds sterling or in Euros.
