Southern Wales region

Gower is one of the most beautiful parts of the UK and was the first region to be designated an area of outstanding natural beauty in 1956.

It remains largely unspoilt and manages to pack a lot into an area that's sixteen miles long by seven miles wide. There are 21 beaches, 6 castles, 19 nature reserves, 6 golf courses, around 40 caves and over 400 miles of walking accross a memorable and varied landscape.

Reynoldston

The village of Reynoldston is in the very centre of the Gower peninsular and offers the ideal base for exploring it's many attractions.

There are many memorable walks in the area. The Gower Way, a 35-mile footpath from Mawr to Rhossili runs right past Corner Cottage.

Oxwich beach is less than 10 minutes drive away. The fabulous surfing beach of Llangennith is a 15 minute drive.

"nice cottage, great location"

We have stayed for one week in this cottage and liked it very much.
The booking and payment went without trouble. It was a bit more outdated than we thought, but everything we needed was available.
We only had contact with the owner through e-mail and his responses were always quick. Unfortunately there was a problem with the heating, but after contact with the owner we figured out what the immersion heater was and how we could turn it on. We didn't need heating as we had great weather, so that wasn't a problem. I don't know if it had anything to do with the immersion heater, but the pressure on the showerhead was really bad. Almost nothing, so showering wasn't as nice as you would expect. But we could manage.

The location of the cottage and the piano were a real plus!

"Great base to explore the Gower"

We stayed for 4 nights in the middle of June, and it was perfect for what we needed. It has a very central location on the peninsular, and is a comfortable spacious-feeling cottage. We loved the south-facing conservatory, sat there watching the world go by, and ate all our meals there too.
There is wifi, as well as a piano, books, games, DVDs & maps.
There are good walks from the cottage, and the beaches are only a few minutes drive away.
It has plenty of hot water, good hobs & a microwave/oven, as well as a Rayburn range for those who want to use it.
We would definitely stay there again.

I can't recommend Corner Cottage highly enough. Everything has been thought of in terms of kitchen equipment, cleaning supplies etc. The cottage is warm, friendly, comfortable, inviting - a real home from home.

"lovely, cosy cottage in an excellent location"

This cottage is perfectly situated for some amazing beaches only a few minutes away and a really good pub you can walk to for a meal. The teenagers enjoyed sleeping in the crog loft and everywhere was clean and tidy. The owner was really friendly and available for the odd querry we had. Would recommend.
