Reykjavik Central is a newly renovated guesthouse, fully furnished in an elegant manner, suitable for both short and long term stay. Located in a peaceful residential area, but still only a two minute walk to the city centre with it´s shops, museums, pubs, cafés, nightclubs, and a wide range of restaurants.
On a bright summer´s evening take a stroll down to Reykjavík harbour which is just around the corner and down the hill from where you stay. There you can check out the fleet of small fishing boats, maybe even bargain for a fish or two, enjoy the view of Mt. Esja, the pride and joy of the people of Reykjavík. Want to mingle with the local fishermen and harbour workers, then stop at the KAFFIVAGNINN for a cup of coffee, light snack or a full meal. By staying at Reykjavik Central you will actually feel like one of the locals.
