Mirasol is our 5,388 square ft, Mediterranean style home, furnished to a very high standard, situated on the 10th fairway of the Jack Nicklaus course at Reunion Resort, Orlando, Florida.
The home includes expansive first and second floor entertainment areas - each offering views of the golf course - as well as a master suite, home office, dining area and three further large bedrooms.
Two separate first floor living areas, the family TV viewing area, and sitting room with stone fireplace and right angled sliding doors opening onto the covered patio and pool area
Large second floor games room complete with pool table, TV/DVD, Wii games console, wet bar and right angled sliding doors opening to covered balcony with views onto 10th and 11th fairways on the Jack Nicholas course.
4 Bedrooms include a master suite with king size bed, Bedroom 2 with king size bed, Bedroom 3 with queen bed and Bedroom 4 with two single beds. All bedrooms include TV/ DVD player. Baby Cot & High Chair available on request.
3 full and 1 half bathrooms. The master bathroom has his 'n ' hers marble top vanity, roman spa jet tub and walk-in closets. All bathrooms have hairdryers. Bath and poolside towels provided.

Lisa and I are very disappointed to receive this review, and feel it is very unfair and selective of the facts.
For the last seven years we have managed our Reunion rental property business in a professional and very customer focused way. We and are very proud of the fact 30% of our bookings are repeat customers.
This was a last minute booking as the initial villa booked by the guests was no longer available. The guests required 17 nights but we could only offer the first 10 nights. After securing accommodation for the final seven nights, the guests agreed to book Villa Mirasol.
I would like to address each point individually.
Broken pool heater - the pool was not heated on arrival due to the failure of the pool heater equipment. This appears to have happened on the day of arrival as the previous guests did not have a problem. The breakdown of a pool heater is a very rare occurrence and totally outside of our control. In response we contacted the guests on the evening of their arrival, our property manager attended the house the following morning and the replacement pool heater was fitted the next working day. We could not have responded any quicker.
Games room TV - this is one of six TVs in the house. In an attempt to help, I talked the guest through the set up of the TV as occasionally guests change the input channel to play the games console or their computer through the TV. The following morning our property manager arranged for the cable provider to replace the box. I tried to help, and the cable provider replaced the box the following day. This was great service from Centurylink.
Music System – the external sound system was not faulty. The unit works as a zone 1 and zone 2 music system with zone 2 being the external area. We display the operating instructions next to the unit. In an attempt to be helpful, I tried to explain by phone how this works. Again the comments from the guests are very unfair as I tried to help.
House clean – The presentation of the home was immaculate. The issue with the changeover clean was restricted to an empty beer can and discarded cigarettes at the outside kitchen area. We were also unhappy our property manager missed this. However, it is totally untrue to say the villa had not been cleaned. Again, our property manager attended the house and acted promptly. The rubbish bins had been left at the bottom of the drive for the bin collection on the following morning.
We accept the breakdown of the pool heater impacted on the enjoyment of the house on the first couple of days. However, we responded in a very timely manner and replaced the unit. As the guest has stated, we were surprised at their decision to leave the villa as the pool heater and TV cable box had been repaired the previous day. The guest advised the house they had booked for their final seven nights had become available earlier.
At the time of departure from the villa the guests demanded a full refund and threatened us with legal action. This is the reason why we initially requested a settlement agreement with the partial refund of the rental fee.
When this was not accepted by the guests, we paid a 25% refund of the rental fee due to the loss of pool heat for two days. The guest was aware of this at the time of posting their review.
The support from our property manager and service providers was first class. We are very conscientious and care greatly that the photos and descriptions of the houses are accurate, and that the houses are well presented and our guests enjoy their stay.
This review is unfair, unbalanced and selective with the facts. Please review the feedback from other guests. We can also provide references about our houses and customer service from the booking agents we have used for the last seven years.

"Dream holiday home"

We are very frustrated to receive such a negative review having been so supportive and responsive to address the concern of our guests during their stay at Mirasol.
There is minimal construction at Reunion. This is the first time we have received a complaint about construction work at the resort. A house under construction 100 yards away should not have impacted on the privacy of our guests.
In this case, the builder breached the Reunion rules. When made aware of the builder's actions, we promptly contacted the builder, Reunion Membership Office, Home Owners Association and the resort management. After three days of communicating with all parties, the builder agreed to stop using the lot next door and the golf cart path. There was no loss of privacy or disruption to the second week of our guest's holiday.
Although this situation was outside of our control, we agreed to pay compensation for the loss of privacy during the first week.
We are very conscientious people and care greatly that the photos and descriptions of the houses are accurate, the houses are well presented and our guests enjoy their stay at our houses.
