Home description

The villa has an open plan lounge, with typical Cretan fireplace; dining and kitchen area and patio doors opening onto a covered terrace with wonderful views toward the sea; the perfect place to sit and enjoy an evening drink whilst watching the sun set. Both the Double and Twin bedded rooms have air-conditioning and fitted wardrobes. Further sleeping facilities are available in the sitting room.

A private swimming pool measuring 7m long x 4m wide with an approximate depth of 1.5m is situated in the spacious garden. Also provided are 4 sunbeds, a table, 4 chairs and large umbrella.

The Crete region

Rethymnon is the capital of the Prefecture of the same name and it is built between two other large cities of Crete. In the east is Iraklion (80 km) and to the west is Hania (60 km).

It lies along the north coast, having to the east one of the largest sand beaches in Crete (12 km) and to the west a rocky coastline that ends up to another large sand beach after 10 km.

It is the administrative, communications and commercial centre of the Prefecture with approximately 25.000 inhabitants.

Rethymno / Pigi area

There is direct connection all year round from the port of Rethymnon to Piraeus.Tours to Santorini are also organized during the summer.

Rethymnon does not have an airport but the city is served by the airports of Hania and Iraklion.
Public buses can be used for travelling to Hania, Iraklion and most of the towns and villages of the Prefecture of Rethymnon.

The nearest beach is only 3km away from the villa where you will find sunbeds, watersports and various restaurants and cafes.The nearest airports are Heraklion and Chania both of which are 80kms away. Car hire is essential.
