Casa Vitae Luxury is a Medieval House dating back to the 16th century.
It has got 6 luxury suites. Each suite can sleep up to two people and has its own en suite facilities. Some of its luxury rooms have got a private balcony.
The suites are all furnished with medieval style furniture. With double or twin bedrooms. Each suite has also got a Jacuzzi, Bath, W/C, A/C, SAT-TV, Telephone, Hair Dryer and Safe. The price does not include Breakfast. Room service is available upon request.
Casa Vitae Hotel is one of the very few in the old town of Rethymnon that has got a large patio for enjoyable moments. Ideal for people seeking relaxation in a place of historical and archaeological interest. It is located in the centre of the medieval town of Rethymnon (the old town). Quiet and peaceful, yet only easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.
The hotel is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.
It is also ideal for unforgettable wedding receptions. Thematic events are also organised upon agreement with the owner.

The Crete region
Crete is an island in the the south-east of Europe and is the largest island of Greece. The island is ideal for those who are interested to have different alternatives when on holiday. Visitors can opt between the nice traditional villages located on its mountains and the long sandy beaches or rocky bays. Crete is also known for its night life but it can also be recommended for those who would like to take a relaxed and romantic holiday.
In the summer, the weather is warm with temperatures between 23 and 35 degrees C. The sea water is warm, thus ideal for swimming. During the other seasons, the weather is still warm and you can get sunny days ideal for swimming as well. Even in winter, it can be unexpectedly warm therefore making it an ideal island to enjoy warmth and pleasure.
Rethymno area
The town of Rethymno is situated in the north-west of the island of Crete. It is well known for its places of archaeological and historical interests. The old town where Casa Vitae Hotel is located is famous for its medieval monuments and history. Needless to mention the nice villages in the surrounding area where visitors can take a good taste of the Cretan tradition.
Rethymnon is also well known for its Carnival which is an event lasting a whole week to reach its peak with the carnival parade. It takes place between the months of March and April and attracts huge numbers of visitors to participate in the event.
How to get there
Casa Vitae is situated in the old town of Rethymnon (the medieval part). You can come via Athens and then fly to Heraklion or Chania airport - Cheap flights available from Easyjet.co.uk from most UK based airports to Athens airport. Then you can get cheap flights from Athens to either Chania or Heriaklion, from Aegeanair.com. Also British airways operate direct flights from London airports to Heraklion.
There is the public transport from the two airports to travel to the town of Rethymnon. Buses run regularly between the airport(s) and the town of Rethymnon. There are always local taxis available - fare should be no more than 70 euros. Casa Vitae is just 50 km from Chania airport and 70 km from Heraklion.
