About the home

Anemos luxury villa, stand above the lacy coastline of Rodakino bay allowing you to experience ideal living conditions in a supremely restful, relaxing and revitalising environment. It is 112 sqms in size consisted of two floors and can accommodate up to 6 people.

Beside the villa there is its private swimming pool, 35 sqms, equipped with sun-beds, sunshades, shower, hammock. The villa is fully equipped with air-conditioning and central heating.

The area is considered to be one of the loveliest landscapes on Crete and Anemos has been built with respect to nature without disturbing the harmony and balance of the surrounding area.

All rooms of the villa are oriented to the sea and from every window you can enjoy the wild - natural beauty of the area. The whole region is famous for its amazing view.

The lacy coastline full of small beaches impels you to dive into the crystal clear water of the Libyan sea.

Anemos villa is built with all comfort and luxury standards and is tastefully decorated in modern style.

Bedrooms + Bathrooms
All bedrooms are fully equipped and they have air-conditioning and Satellite TV, anatomic mattresses and feather pillows. They also offer spacious wardrobes, bedside tables, mirrors, 100% cotton towels.

On the ground level there is a bedroom with iron-double size bed. Next to the bedroom there is one fully equipped bathroom/WC.

An Internal staircase leads to the upper floor where are two more modern decorated bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds, sharing a bath/wc with whirlpool bathtub.

Living room
Spacious living room decorated with light colours, working fireplace, satellite TV, DVD player, sound system, air-condition unit, modern sofas tables and lights.

Kitchen-Dining area.
Next to the living room is an open plan kitchen and the dining area with a large table seating six.
The kitchen is equipped with Fridge-freezer, Cooker and stove with air-extractor, Microwave oven, Coffee machines, Toaster, Dishwasher, Kettle, Full set of kitchen equipment.

Storeroom
On the ground level there is a small storeroom with a washing machine, ironing board, safe box, first aid kit.

Swimming Pool
Beside each villa there is its private swimming pool, 35 sqm, equipped with sun beds, sunshades, shower, and a huge hammock.

On the veranda (ground floor) you can enjoy your breakfast or lunch with our large table sitting six.

Balcony-View: The bedrooms open to a large balcony with patio furniture, sunbeds and panoramic view of the sea and the beautiful countryside.

Entrance’s remote control is also provided.

Swimming pool is open from April to the middle of November.

There is also the possibility to organise for our guests tailor made tours like, one day luxury Jeep Safari mountain-bike tours, trekking, River trekking tour, Sailing, Diving, small cruises, Jeep Safari, Santorini island cruise – Cyclades islands. All above are organised with the special care of the owner.

The two private villas with separate pools

The Crete region

Crete is Greece's largest and most southerly island and the fifth largest in the Mediterranean. The distance between Crete and the mainland, as well as the fertility of its land, have made the Island independent for many centuries. Over time Crete developed a culture of its own, with distinct language and traditions. The island separates the Aegean from the Libyan Sea, marks the boundary between Europe and Africa.

Crete is mostly mountainous, with a large mountain chain running east to west. Majestic mountains rise in its centre. Its plateaux are split by deep gorges and end up in fertile valleys. The scenery is constantly changing. In one place harsh and barren, in another wooded and gentle. Its villages smothered in greenery: Olive trees, orange groves, vineyards, and vegetable market gardens.

Old stone farmhouses, monasteries and villages perched on mountain ridges, castles and chapels forgotten on steep slopes. Shores lined with forbidding rocks, often inaccessible, but also lots of endless sandy or pebbly beaches!

The Rethymno area

The town of Rethymno (39 kms). A travel in time as if time had never passed... Rethymno represents a place of contrasts, boasting a long and remarkable history as well as untouched places of natural beauty and living traditions. This small Mediterranean town will enchant you with its centre dating from the period of the Renaissance, its fortress and museums as well as its beaches.

Rethymno maintains even today the authenticity and the customs of the island alive. Moreover, it is one of the most significant tourist resorts in Greece with a variety of natural and cultural leisure activities, which will satisfy even the most demanding visitors.

Holidays in Rodakino bay
Rodakino, is a small village on the south coast of Rethymno-Crete,Set on steep streets above of Korakas beach, Rodakino is the largest village of the area. It also is an historical place in the struggle for the independence of Crete. It is still a quiet and relatively infrequently visited place. It is divided in two parts: Upper (Epano) and Lower (kato) Rodakino.

Despite its beautiful beaches and green surroundings, there are not many tourists here.
There are some rent-rooms properties and some tavernas on the beach.A super market is open in the village.

Fly directly to Chania airport (110 kms) or Heraklion airport (120 kms) with a charter flight, or another airline company from whole Europe and the rest of the world, via Athens.

In that case that you will fly to Crete via Athens airport, there are Olympic airways and Aegean airlines flights. Both of the companies are flying to Crete many times per day.

Car is essential and we have a lot of offers from rent a car companies. Hertz, Avis, Autoway...

"ns sommes ravis de nos vacances la maison était parfaite rien à dire - très propre - neuf - calme - bonne surprise la femme de ménage tous les 2 jours (par contre vers 9h30 un peu tôt) - la piscine manque un tout petit peu d'intimité mais dès que les arbres seront poussé ça ira - sylvie et jeam pierre"
