From the owner

ALOE is a villa newly built with traditional materials, ecological susceptibility ans local architectural design. It has its own garden, entrance and swimming pool. A retreat with privacy bathed in the scent of jasmine, honeysuckle, of evening primrose and lavender.

It is located in the end of the traditional village Prines overlooking the White Mountains, the Cretan Sea and wild oak trees. You hear only the chirp of the birds and you are only 300 m. from restaurants with delicious local food and the center of the village, 2,5 km from beautiful sandy beaches and 5 km from the picturesque town of Rethymno. Ideal for couples, families and groups.

You can relax and let the owner to introduce you to the customs and rituals of real Crete and guide you in the exploration of the historical, cultural and religious places. As nature lover and cyclist, she will acquaint you with the unspoilt Crete and as a hostess she, together with her associates, will take care of everyday concerns.

Because of its central position on the island of Crete, from ALOE villa you can explore all the island (as well as Santorini island) by daily excursions.

The guests who need to relax and enjoy the calmness and the sun near the pool or on the veranda will find here their paradise.

The guests who look for exploring the magnificent Cretan nature, the famous gorges, the caves, the beaches all around the island and discovering the unspoilt villages or the younger guests who are going in for sports, will find here all the activities they may want to do.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send IASON (the owner) a message.

If IASON (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
