Modern wooden kitchen fully equipped offering, cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and a dinning table with chairs and stools.
The living room with a balcony door of five feet long leading to the breathtaking view from the veranda is the”must “ of this villa. It is also equipped with air condition, a flat screen satellite TV, DVD player, Hi Fi & comfortable designed furniture..Villa Kivotos is designed and equipped also for the disabled and handicapped.
Two bedrooms are in the ground floor, all the doors are opening to an extend of one meter, one bathroom is fully equipped for the disabled & access ramps are used in the garden and to the pool to ensure the safety of our guests.

Within the pool area is a barbecue and sun loungers. The swimming pool 9m x 4m is private to the residence of Villa Kivotos and is cleaned daily. The garden is home to some traditional plants to the Mediterranean and parking is provided in the private and secured area of the Villa.Villa Kivotos provides all linen and towels. The property is cleaned once per week with a complete change of linen and towels. Additional cleaning and change of linen can be arranged at an extra cost.Pool towels provided .

The Rethymno / Maroulas area
Highlights of the area are :The historic monastery of Arkadi, Maroulas, Eleftherna, Knossos, Phaestos and Gortyna archaeological-sites, the Kourtalioti gorges, Plakias, the Triopetra and Agios Pavlos beach in the south coast. Tavernas, cafes and small shops are at nearby villages while the inhabitants are courteous and hospitable. Various religious festivals are celebrated in the villages, along with traditional fiestas and cultural events during summer!
Rethymno is Crete ‘s third largest town, conveniently placed in the middle of the north coast between Heraklion and Chania, making it ideal base to explore the island, just a forty minute drive to the south coast.
A day trip to Rethymnon-town is a “must” as you will have the opportunity to visit the sixteenth century Venetian Fortezza, the old Venetian-harbour as well admire the Turkish and Venetian buildings of the old town . If you’re interested in the history of the island you may also want to step into the Historical and Folk Art Museum for a taste of traditional Cretan-ceramics, textiles, artefacts, jewellery, and clothing from across the centuries.

Charter flights operate from all major airports to Heraklion (HER) and Chania(CHQ)airports. Ferry’s operate to the port of Heraklion & Chania. Heraklion airport to Villa Kivotos is approximately 80 klm and will take just over an hour by car. Chania airport to Villa Kivotos is approximately 70 klm and will take just under an hour by car. Hiring a car is strongly recommended, major hire companies operate from both airports.
