This pretty village had been developed around a large village green area giving a wonderful sense of community and quaintness. Walkers flock to Reeth where they can enjoy mile upon mile of un-spoilt moorland before retiring to this picturesque village. Reeth is proud of its James Herriott connections, with much of the filming being carried out in the immediate area. The popular town of Richmond is just ten miles away and is steeped in history and seven miles to the west lies the quaint market town of Leyburn forming the gateway into the wonderful Wensleydale countryside.
