Ambleside is a family owned, immaculately presented, modern property situated in the heart of Cornwall.


Ambleside has 4 bedrooms (three are on the ground floor). Bedroom one and two are double rooms, bedroom three contains bunk beds, bedroom 4 four is a small bedroom, with pitched roof, accessed by a very steep set of stairs (unsuitable for young children and older visitors). The living room has TV, DVD and Freesat with a door off leading to a conservatory. The large kitchen-diner contains a range cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and dining area. The main bathroom contains a large corner bath and separate shower, WC and basin. There is a small ensuite off bedroom 4, consisting of WC, a corner bath and basin, and an external WC in the utility room, containing toilet and basin,

washing machine and drying racks. There is ample parking, with 3 bays on the property with additional street parking if required. Wi Fi is also included. A clean, modern travel cot and high chair can be provided and a selection of toys for young children if required.


A large level garden to the rear comprises flower beds, a large grassed area and decking with table and chairs. The property is perfect for children, with the garden being fully enclosed, encompassing a treehouse and trampoline with safety enclosure. Again additional garden toys can be provided if required for younger children.

The Cornwall region


Ambleside is situated on the edge of the mining town of Redruth. Within a 5 minutes walk the famous paths of the Great Flat Load where unspoilt countryside can be reached. Likewise a short walk in the other direction provides easily accessible local amenities (shops, pub and cinema). Ambleside is perfect for touring Cornwall and has easy access to the A30 making day trips to Falmouth, St Ives, Penzance, Newquay and the cathedral city of Truro reachable. The Cornish Goldmine Centre (2 miles), Portreath (4 miles), Porthtowan (4.5 miles), Gwithian and Hayle (8 miles) are all within easy reach. The area has World Heritage status and has many fascinating mine shafts and history to explore. Stithians Lake is a short drive away offering windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, fishing and bird watching. Wheal Buller horse riding centre with trekking lessons is just a mile away. Heartlands, containing botanical gardens and Cornwall's largest free outdoor play area is less than 10 minute drive.

"What a fantastic experience!"
