This detached cottage has recently been renovated throughout, situated within the outskirts of the quiet hamlet of Mawla, and benefitting from uninterrupted rolling countryside views.

Ideally located within this quiet spot, yet a short drive from a wealth of some of Cornwall's most popular beaches and sheltered coves, and ideal for exploring the array of attractions that are within easy reach, from England's most westerly point, Lands End and the rugged Lizard Peninsula, as well as the numerous National Trust properties, The Eden Project and The Tate Gallery at St Ives, to name but a few. Alternatively, you can relax in the garden and enjoy the Cornish pace of life. A foot/bridle path nearby is ideal for walking and cycling, and gives access to the sandy beaches at Portreath in one direction and the coast at Devoran in the other. The sandy bays (plus shops and a village pub) of Portreath and Porthtowan are approximately 3 miles away. A Chinese restaurant can also be found within 1 mile.

This character cottage offers TWO bedrooms: 1 master double with TV and 1 twin bedroom, both located on the first floor. Bathroom: with electric shower over the bath and WC, and benefitting from a separate downstairs WC. Lounge/diner: this open-plan area offers a great social space with ample seating around the woodburner (all logs provided) and flatscreen TV with DVD and Freeview. Kitchen: with oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and a washing machine within the porch area. Outside: offers a spacious enclosed garden with a pond that we ask young children to be supervised around, garden furniture and BBQ. Amenities: off-road parking for 2 cars. Bed linen, towels, electric, and central heating (provided by the woodburner) is included. Regret no smoking. 2 medium size dogs welcome (further by arrangement). Location: beach 3 miles, shops and pubs 2 miles. Arrival: 3.30pm.
