The Cornwall region
This fabulous cottage is placed convieniently in West Cornwall. It is within easy travelling distance of Lands End, the minnack theatre (an outdoor theatre), St Ives, Truro (city of Cornwall), all of west Cornwall beaches (far too many to list), The Eden project (near St Austell). Flambards and Cornwall Creally offer fun filled days out and there are weekend markets held through out the year in Pool and occasionally in Falmouth and Truro. You will be staying right on the door step of Carn Brea Castle, with scenic walks along the mineral tram way only a few hundred yards from the front door. Cornwall has so much to offer for couples or families and entertainment all year round.
Redruth has a cinema, night club, supermarkets, restaurants and shops. You can eat at a Meadery, sample mead and eating with your fingers (if you choose). Redruth is famous for being the first town for having gas street lights and is proud of its mining heritage and links to Richard Trevithick. There is a museum on Redruth history located at the Treasure Park (situated between Redruth and Portreath) There are local shops on its high street that you can discover at your leisure. Visiting Cornwall is a relaxing and laid back experience

"Smart, clean house with beautiful countryside views"
First thing we noticed was the beautiful view of Carn Brea and it's castle from the lounge, we then looked out of the window on the other side of the lounge and a view of the local church was just as beautiful. Redruth and Cambourne was both well within walking distance with lovely shops, pubs and resturants. and the breathtaking views from the coastal walks were just a five minute drive away. best thing we liked about Trevanion House was the views, the worst thing was one week was just not enough.

"Castle Views - Terrific Central Cornwall Location"
As Americans staying abroad we couldn't have asked for a nicer rental. The location in the village of Carn Brea offered a perfect jumping ground to see all of the best that Cornwall has to offer. The home is brand new, yet set within the prettiest of places. We had views of Carn Brea castle from one window, and views of a beautiful old church from the other. Our young daughters loved seeing the cows come out to graze each afternoon in the field adjacent to the house. The owner was flexible, and accessible. The basic needed supplies were already placed in the home (toilet paper, dish soap, sponge, trash bag, etc). We fit our family of four comfortably. The rental price was way below other rentals asking prices, yet we could drive to a beach in less than 10 minutes. We plan to stay here whenever we visit Cornwall. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the wonderful deep bathtub where I enjoyed the most glorious bubble bath a vacation can offer!
