This superb property offers 220m² of living accommodation, the large farmhouse kitchen with fitted units and appliances, including a cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The dining area easily seats 10. The oak beamed lounge is spacious and has comfortable seating areas, overlooking the terrace and garden. A wood burning stove provides a warm and cosy atmosphere on those cold winter evenings and the air conditioning unit will keep you cool on those hot summer nights. There is a large screen tv with dvd player, satelite tv, and a cd player. The french doors lead out to the terrace and garden. There is a large ground floor double bedroom. On this floor there is also a bathroom with bath, walk in shower, wc and vanity unit with basin. On the first floor there are three other bedrooms and a shower room.
A large family bedroom which sleeps 4, has a double bed and two singles. A twin room. A second double which can easily accommodate a cot if necessary. All the bedrooms have been tastefully decorated and offer comfort and space. The shower room is compact and has a walk in shower, wc and wash hand basin.

The Brittany / Ille-et-Vilaine region
This area is reknowned for its micro climate, average temperatures through June, July and August are from 24° to 30° The winters are mild and we do seem to miss most of the rain.
Redon / Guemene Penfao area
Guémené-Penfao, which is nestled on the banks of the river Don, this picturesque village is only 5 minutes away. It has a wonderful selection of shops and supermarkets. This quaint rural village has everything you could want, including several banks with cash points, two pharmacies, a post office and a superb choice of bars and restaurants. There is an indoor/outdoor swimming pool with waterslides, canoeing on the river, horse riding and a wonderful choice of walks through Guémené woods and along the river. There are many local festivals which take place during the year, and all are made to feel very welcome. Guémené races is a big favourite and offers a great day out for all the family, the CELTIVAL which takes place in August celebrates celtic life, with traditional dancing and music, a massive market selling local produce and the culinary delights of Brittany. Bastille day is another favourite, where all the children are given a lantern to carry and follow the band through the streets, ending the evening with a spectacular firework display on the banks of the river.
