Woodfield House is a magnificent property situated 15 mins from Edinburgh and 25 Mins from Glasgow. Decorated to a high standard, this property provides everything you need for a first class luxury holiday. The house lends itself perfectly for spa breaks, golf holidays, corporate or family breaks, being in the centre of Scotland there is no end to the activities available.

The property itself sits in beautifully established gardens. The accommodation comprises: Large Lounge, Kitchen with granite worktops & american style fridge freezer, dining room, utility room, sun room overlooking rear garden. 6 Bedrooms (3 en-suite, There are 5 bedrooms in the main property, 4 of these have superking beds which can be made in to twin beds and on single room with bunk beds. The annexe accommodation has a further bedroom which 3 single beds and a sofa bed.

, Family Bathroom, Pool changing room with Sauna & Separate Shower, Heated Indoor Pool (8m x 4m) with seating area & access to decking and BBQ area. Rear garden has decking area. Ample parking.


In the lounge you will find a 32" Flat screen PLASMA TV and DVD/CD player, Hi Fi System with IPOD docking station, and FREE WI FI, DVDs, CDs.

Please note the 6th bedroom suite is annexe accommdation. This building is completly separate from main building, a large decking area links the two buildings together.

The Lothians / West Lothian region

The town of Redmill is situated 15 minutes from Edinburgh & 25 minutes from Glasgow and is perfectly placed for touring the Scottish Borders, Highland & islands and Central Scotland. Woodfield House is situated in secluded luxury development classed as 'countryside' yet only mins from the motorway junction. There are plenty of activities nearby, shopping for instance can be found at Designer Outlet McArthur Glen, or Edinburgh offers a vast range of designer shops, including Louis Vutton, Armani, Harvey Nichols, Jenners as well as the major high street brands. Golf can be found in abundance in Scotland, we have affiliations with local golf courses. We can also organise trips to St Andrews, North Berwick or indeed any courses in Scotland. Golf parties are extremely welcome - we can accommodate up to 9 golfers as we have zip'n'link beds. Restaurants: Plenty of wonderful restaurants can be found nearby, the infamous Champaneys in Linlithgow is definitely worth a visit.

Regular buses take you to Edinburgh in about 35 mins, as Penicuik is on the outskirts of the Scottish Borders you can visit the beautiful town of Peebles, go fishing, hill walking or wind surfing on Saint Marys Loch .

The house is situated 4 miles from the infamous Roslin Chapel where you can attend a Da Vinci Tour or stroll around at your leisure.

The Redmill area

Edinburgh is just 25 mins by car, here you canfind fabulous shops including Harvey Nichols, Jeners, Louis Vutton, Armani etc, the castle can be visited all year round as can many other tourist attractions.

The area is ideally situated for touring the stunning Scottish Borders as well as the Highlands, There are plenty activities to be found form cycling, horse riding, skiing, golf, swimming, spas, shopping, fishing, hill walking and much more,

We have many first class restaurants in the area, including the award wining Cringletie House Hotel, Howgate Restaurants & Castle Venlaw

“Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic” We have just returned from a long weekend at Woodfield House. There were 7 of us who were there celebrating a friends 40th Birthday. “Simply Stunning!±!” I have never stayed in a self catering property like this in my life! Its like a 5 star hotel all to yourself. The pool and hot tub are superb, the house was immaculately clean and fresh. Paul the House Manager was extremely helpful and on hand with anything we needed. The grounds are very private and secluded and you really feel like your away from it all but its only a short drive to Edinburgh centre. The main house has 5 bedrooms and thens there the annexe which has a huge bedroom and separate kitchentte which was nice. We really had a wonderful stay would highly recommend Woodfield to anyone !!

“Absolutely Amazing” i booked woodfield spa for my friends hen do, 9 of us attended as the place looks amazing on the photos. i then read some bad reviews on tripadvisor so was quite worried what we were getting. when we arrived it was the most amazing cottage...like no place i have ever visited, we were all blown away with how beautiful it was, the hen even cried she was that overwhelmed! where to start....the house was immaculate, the decor was modern throughout. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of bathrooms to chose from. There was always somewhere to go if you wanted some quiet time alone to read/make a phone call. The kitchen was fully equipped, dishwasher, cutlery, condiments and even food itself. We were met by a cleaner and Paul the maintenance guy and they were both very friendly and showed us around, told us how to use everything, then left us to get on with our stay. The only issue we had is the hot tub didnt work on the first night, so we called Paul who came out the next day to fix it, then it was up and running for the rest of the stay. We aimed to spend a couple of days in Edinburgh to see some of the sites but the cottage was so relaxing and comfortable we ended up spending most of our time in the hot tub or pool. The cottage is 30 minutes from Edinburgh which costs around 30 pounds in a taxi and 15 minutes from Edinburgh airport. I cant recommend this place anymore than i have, ignore the bad reviews it was amazing and well worth the money we will definitely be looking to go back.
