Alexandra Cottage is located in Sandgate, a bayside suburb of Brisbane. Located 19klms from Brisbane City it is accessible by direct train line (30 minute trip) and is within a 5 minute drive to the beaches, shops, train station, schools, cafe's, RSL and Bowls Clubs.
Alexandra Cottage is a 3 bedroomed house with one bathroom (bath, shower, vanity, toilet) and a 2nd toilet. It has a combined dining/kitchen, office or baby's room located through the French Doors from the main bedroom and a lounge room.
Small deck at the front to sip a glass of wine and contemplate the day's activities while overlooking the protected bushland.

The Queensland / Brisbane and Moreton region
Queensland's motto is "beautiful one day, perfect the next" and that really sums it up. It is currently winter in Australia and our average winter days are blue skies that go on forever, almost nil rainfall, temps in the 8-25C range and a cooling sea breeze all day.
Queensland is home to the Great Barrier Reef, Cairns, Shute Harbour. On a more local front, Alexandra Cottage is located less than an hours' drive to the Sunshine Coast, Caloundra, Australia Zoo, Maroochydore and the beautiful beaches of Mooloolaba.
Redland / Sandgate area
Sandgate and Shorncliffe are a bayside suburb of Brisbane. The waterfront has gorgeous homes, restaurants, cafe's, bike and pedestrian walk way. On top of the cliffs at Shorncliff is the famous Full Moon Hotel that has spectacular food and a vast array of gorgeous wines along with a spectacular view of the entire Sandgate/Redcliffe bay. Some of our English friends recently commented that they thought the Full Moon Hotel has a "licence to print money" - they thought it was that good!
How to get there
Emirates is usually the cheaper and better airline to fly with. We often make the trek from Brisbane to Manchester in the UK and have always enjoyed fantastic service with Emirates.
A very good hire car company in Brisbane is located on www.bargainwheels.com.au who have a range of small to large vehicles which are usually about 4-5 years of age and are generally half the normal price of the large hire companies (Avis, Hertz).
