This beautifully restored Grade 2* listed Jacobean manor house of considerable historic importance is set amidst 25 acres of classical gardens and parkland, one hour from London and 30 mins from Oxford or Heathrow. The house was built in 1609 by the grandfather of Queen Anne and has been restored in a contemporary fashion providing the luxury and modern amenities of an upmarket country hotel with all the privacy of your own home.
Purley Hall is a fantastic venue for a group of people wanting luxury but in a relaxed setting, allowing everyone to do what they want when they want. Purley is a fantastic venue offering the luxury of a boutique hotel. We welcome weddings with option of a marquee in grounds. Perfect for corporate events, suiting both intimate gatherings and larger events.

- Refundable breakages deposit of £2000 required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
- Non-refundable 25% of rental fee due six weeks before your stay to secure booking.

Purley Hall is centrally located between London, Oxford and Bath acting as the perfect gateway to the historical sights of these 3 key British cities. The historic Windsor Castle is close by as is Legoland for the children.
Set in beautiful parkland on the edge of woodland, Purley Hall is an ideal base for walks through the Berkshire countryside and along the stretch of the Thames immortalised by Jerome K. Jermone in "Three Men in a Boat" and Kenneth Graham's "Wind in the Willows". Henley-on-Thames and Dorney Rowing Lake are short drives away for rowing enthusiasts.

Purley Hall is easily accessible by rail or car. The house is a short drive from Junction 12 of the M4 and can be reached in approx one hour from London and 30 mins from Oxford or Heathrow.
The train from Paddington to Pangbourne is less than an hour. Purley Hall's central location make it an ideal base for visiting the sights of Oxford, the south coast, Bath, the Cotswolds and London. Directions will be sent upon confirmation of booking.
