The world famous Lake District and facinating Yorkshire Dales are within easy driving distance. Visit the houses of Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth, enjoy Windermere, Ulswater and Conniston Lakes with a cruise round the Lake or a trip on a steam driven train or yacht.
