It features a shared swimming pool, a shared garden, a reserved outdoor area and air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed).
You will be in a pedestrian precinct, roughly 1.5 km (one mile) from Ravello, where you will find restaurants and the shops.
Villa Cleofe A is located on the ground floor. You will reach it from the parking area along a 500-meters (1640-feet) walkway that includes approximately 260 stairway steps.
To stay at Villa Cleofe A you will need a car. You will be able to park it along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces).
Villa Cleofe A is one of the holiday homes available in a small complex. Please find a general description of the complex below, and please scroll further down for a description of Villa Cleofe A.
Villa Cleofe is located in a dominating position by the sea and the coast, and it is surrounded by a one-hectare plot cultivated with lemon trees. The villa, just outside the town of Torello di Ravello, is located by the old stairway path which goes from the top of the hill where Ravello is nestled (350 meters or about 1,148 feet above the sea) until sea level near Amalfi.
Torello is a picturesque group of old houses clung on the top of a small hill overlooking the sea. The town has remained the same over the centuries and it is still visited only through pedestrian streets. In order to reach Villa Cleofe you have to go through the little streets of the town’s little center, where you will meet only the inhabitants of the place instead of crowds of tourists. The foot path is about 500 meters (about 1,640 feet) long, and includes 260 stairway steps. The center of Ravello is reached on foot through stairways which climb up the hill. You can reach Ravello more conveniently by car (1.5 km away or about 1 mile).
If you like going for a walk and are also fond of strolling on search of special places out of the usual tourist circuits, and don't mind the 260 stairway steps to reach the property, you will enjoy staying at Villa Cleofe. You will have all the beautiful tourist places of the Amalfi Coast quite at hand.

The Campania region
If you think you have no idea of where Campania is, think again. This fascinating land, rich in gulfs, islands and legendary places, is home to the charming landscapes of the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, the Cilento National Park, Capri and Ischia.
The Campania region is situated in the South of Italy and bounded by the Tyrrhenian Sea (that’s the name of that stretch of Mediterranean). The region is divided into five provinces, whose capitals are Salerno, Caserta, Avellino, Benevento and Naples (Napoli). Naples is also the capital city of the region itself. With roughly 6 million of residents, half of which lives around the city of Naples, Campania has more people than Finland, packed in an area which is 200 times smaller.
If you are fond of archeology, architecture, or simply want to see history come back to life, Campania is a must. The archeological heritage is huge: the temples left by the Greeks in Paestum, the buried towns of Pompeii and Herculaneum, the remains of Velia, the masterpieces kept in the museums, the churches… and, of course!, the Royal Palace of Caserta, built to be the most sumptuous palace of Europe, with its 1200 rooms.
If the majesty you prefer is the majesty of nature, Campania will not disappoint you. The sandy beaches and the crystal-clear waters of the Cilento National Park, the amazing scenery of the Amalfi Coast, the islands of the Gulf of Naples are just a sampler of what lies ahead of you. From the underground depths of the caves of Pertosa to the heights of Mount Vesuvius, there is something for everyone. By the way, being Mount Vesuvius an active volcano, we respectfully suggest you visit sooner rather than later.
The Ravello area
Ravello is a charming little town overlooking the Mediterranean and the Amalfi Coast. If you fancy evocative seascapes and breathtaking sceneries it will be your ideal location.
Ravello is well known for its musical events and the cultural roots, the charming view, the old and amazing architectures, the stunning gardens of Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo, the quiet of its alleyways and the relaxing main square in front the Cathedral of St Pantaleone.
The origin of Ravello dates back to the 6th century, when Roman colonies arrived and found out a good shelter to escape barbarian devastation. During the early middle age, the new inhabitants used to sail and trade their textiles to the Orient. The new enriched families built castles, churches, palaces and their overpowering influence caused the flare-up of the disputes with Amalfi. That's why Amalfi named the rival-city as "Rebellum" (rebel).
