Wheelchair users are able to access the property step-free from the street, move around the garden and into the cottage with no obstacles. However inside the cottage there are two shallow steps leading to the WC and double bedroom, and the WC room is too narrow to take a wheelchair right inside. Nevertheless people who are wheelchair users outdoors but can get around with a zimmer or sticks indoors would still be able to enjoy this cottage. There are no other steps outside or into the cottage itself, but note that the separate cellar is accessible only by a flight of ancient wooden steps. The modern double-glazed windows open inwards - either as casement or vertical ventilation style, and are easy to operate. The double bed and one of the single beds have sprung mattresses and are high-level, the two single beds are low level with firm foam mattresses. The small sitting shower/bath has fixed handrails for support. The bathroom has a central floor drain. Enquirers from disabled persons very welcome, with a view to accommodating your needs. Smoking and the use of candles are permitted only in the garden.
