When you book we will send you payment details of how to pay your deposit either by transferring 20%directly to our bank account, or by sending a cheque to our home address in the UK. We will then ask you to pay the rest of the rent by the same method two calendar months before you arrive at the apartment. There are no additional costs to pay except for your taxi fare to and from the apartment: we can book a taxi for you and you will then be able to pay the taxi driver direct.
* We ask our guests to pay a deposit of 20% at the time of booking, with the remainder of the rent to be paid 2 calendar months before arrival. When you book we will email you a booking form with details how to pay the deposit. We then email you a lot of helpful information about the town, the local area and all the things you can see and do there. * We try to be as flexible as possible so do not have a fixed changeover day. We do however ask guests not to arrive before 2pm and to leave at 10am. We can sometimes arrange for you to bring your luggage to the house earlier than 2pm and sometimes it will be possib le for you to leave it with us on your day of departure if your flight leaves much later in the day. * We do not ask for a security deposit and do not take an inventory: we have always trusted our guests to treat the apartment and its contents with respect and have never been disappointed in the 7 years we have been renting . * We do not allow smoking except outside on the balcony. * We don't accept any pets * Children are welcome but Casa Esmeralda's balconies are too high for those between 1 and 5 who might feel like climbing the (very sturdy) railings. * We do ask guests not to be too noisy late at night, specially outside on the balcony, so as not to disturb our neighbours with whom we have always had an excellent relationship
