This is the best B&B we have ever stayed at. The hosts Francesco and Eleonora are so welcoming and their knowledge of the local area and surrounding area's is outstanding. Our travel experience would not have been as fantastic as it was if it wasn't for Francesco & Eleonora. We found the room very comfortable and we were able to relax and sleep when needed. Thepool on site is fantastic. We loved exploring the surrounding townships such as Siena and Firenze to name a couple. Truly a magnificient experience and we will be back for a longer stay. We spent a wonderful week at Il Paggino October 9-15, 2010. Il Paggino is in a wonderful location to visit the Chianti area. The town of Radda is close by and has many interesting shops, restaurants and a well stocked grocery store. We took easy day trips to Firenze, San Gimignano, Montalcino, Pienza, Siena, Castellina in Chianti and Greve in Chianti. It was wonderful to return to our beautiful accomodation where we were able to relax and prepare some of our evening meals in our well equipped kitchen. We especially enjoyed the WiFi in the apartment where we were able to keep in touch with our family at home. The weather was cool so we weren't really able to enjoy the outside patios that are located throughout the gorgeous property and take in the amazing Tuscan vistas. Perhaps another time!! Francesco was a pleasant host and unfortunately we did not meet his lovely wife and new baby daughter. This young couple have done a superb job of restoring this farm to a exceptional agriturismo. Best wishes for a happy holiday season and all the best in 2011.

Nous sommes venus une 1ere fois à 7 personnes il y a 2 ans, cette été 2010, nous sommes revenus à 14 et Il Paggino a procuré à l'unanimité une douceur de vivre tous étions émerveillaient par le paysage typiquement Toscan, un jardin magnifique, fleuri et très bien entretenu, une piscine avec une vue splendide sur les collines Toscane. Le domaine est tout proche du village (supermarché, tabac, épiceries fines, pizzeria etc..) Eleonora et Francesco, nous ont très très bien accueillis. Nous reviendrons volontiers une 3ème fois. Dear Eleonora, dear Francesco, We left the Gelsomino appartment last saturday but we didn't the opportunity to see you at this time. We would have liked to tell you that all of us really enjoyed our appartment for its space, its nice vintage furniture, its good taste decoration and the already-provided consumables (a small detail that has its importance). We also appreciated very much the appartment garden with its lounge, the large whole property garden and swimming pool surrounded by Chianti's vineyard and olive trees. We also had the opportunity to sympathize with our neighbours and the other people of the house. All of this to say that we spent a very pleasant week in your house and, on the road saturday morning, all of us were sad to leave Tuscany... At least, we would like to thank you for your kindness and your welcome with a glass of wine that was more that pleasant after a 7 hour car trip !

This was our second time at Il Paggino, and the 4 years between this and last time, sure wasn't due to lack of will. Francesco and Eleonora made this stay just as wonderful as ever. Il Paggino itself has undergone some modernizations and it has all been for the better. The place sits on the side of a hill with an amazing view over the Tuscan landscape. The apartment had the rustic, Italian charm you would expect and it all contributes to an almost movie-sch experience. And do try out Francesco and Eleonora's wines, the make for an excellent partner to the great food of the region. The wonderful town of Radda In Chianti is just a stones throw away, and if you feel a bit more adventurous both Greve In Chianti and Volpaia is just around the corner. Of course, we would recommend taking a trip to all the major cities around Il Paggino, as they all serve a unique experience.
