About this location
The Brittany region
The Blavet tow path provides miles of walking/running /cycling, while the river is popular for kayaking and fishing.
The coast offers beautiful beaches, bathing/surfing/sailing/sea kayaking/sand yachting/wind surfing and boat trips to the Islands.
The abundance of medieval towns, villages and castles provide festivals and music through the summer months. You will find a local market every day of the week. Their restaurants cover all tastes and price brackets from wonderful sea food to small village creperies and pizza cooked in wood ovens.
St Quion is a small, idyllic and tranquil hamlet on the Blavet River, 30 mins to beaches and easy access to the historic towns of Hennebont, Josselin, Vannes and to the Golf du Morbihan. 1hr 30 mins to Roscoff and 2hrs to St Malo.
The Commune of Quistinic has been described as one of the most beautiful and traditional of the Breton Communes and abounds with woodland walks, streams and Breton chapels. The Blavet River provides canoeing and fishing and it’s towpath miles of tranquil walking or cycling. There are several golf courses near by.
