You want sun sea and sand for your holidays?You want to laze about your own pool or read a book under the canopy of the covered terrace before working on your tan on the roof terrace with views to the sea and golf course, whilst the kids are playing with their friends in the communal pool or having fun at a game of tennis? We understand! And we’ve got it!
4 bedrooms all ensuite are only a minor detail – the overall beach theme which puts you in holiday mode the minute you enter the house.
The sunny pool terraces with sun-loungers, large mosaic table and chairs under the bougainvillea covered area and the proximity to the beach do the rest!
Open all the sliding doors on to the split level terrace, whip up a simple lunch from the open kitchen and enjoy!
The villa has got its own kidney shaped pool but if you fancy a bigger pool for a serious swim and meeting up with fellow holiday makers, there’s a large communal pool on site with snack bar! Just a lovely villa for a lovely holiday in a lovely location!

Utility Room: The washing machine and tumble dryer are in the first downstairs bathroom. There’s plenty of space to dry your washing, one of which is the enclosed patio just off the kitchen

Outdoors: Evenings on the roof terrace watching the endless star glazed sky with a glass of wine are a joy. The BBQ area has lovely comfy seats ready for you to just sink away in. If you want to venture out for dinner, you don’t have far to go and best still, you can leave the car behind! There’s a famous beachbar across the wooden walkway, there’s the Quinta do Lago Hotel just a stroll away and Casa do Lago with views over the lake. There are scenic routes through the Ria Formosa and cycling paths
Living Room: A few steps down from the main entrance corridor and you’re in the main living area with sofas and window seating area. Tv w/satellite, stereo with speakers, cd and dvd for all your inhouse entertainment. The dining area with table and 10 chairs borders the kitchen with open serving area/breakfast bar
Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid Service: The villa has been cleaned for your arrival – and a mid-week clean is included. Weekly change of bedding and towels. Beach towels are provided for you too

It’s spacious and light and the seashell theme puts you in holiday mode from the start. Better still, the south facing patio is on 3 different levels so enough space for everyone and the roof terrace is a haven of tranquillity with sea and golf views and sun loungers and little tables for your cocktails.
The communal pool is a short walk and there’s no road to cross to save for the kids to go on their own if they want to meet up with friends. If you want something more substantial than the snackbar, there are at least 3 restaurants walking distance and many more only a short drive away!
The objective in Quinta do Lago was to create a luxury estate offering owners and guests privacy, tranquillity and seclusion, combined with an active social and sporting life and a wide range of leisure and sporting facilities.
The environment at Quinta do Lago has UNESCO protection because of the 18 hectares of the Ria Formosa Natural Park which falls within Quinta Do Lago boundaries. The Ria Formosa is a tidal inlet that is a protected home of migratory birds and a wetland of world importance. The Quinta Do Lago /Ria Formosa is one of the last unspoilt coastal zones in Europe.

Changeover days are flexible but during the summer months it is more likely to be on a weekday. It is necessary to vacant the villa by 10am on the day of departure in the high season. All rental periods includes maid service. Access to the villa is after 3pm on day of arrival unless previous arrangements have been made.
Cancellation refunds:
Up to 8 weeks - loss of deposit
4-8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded
2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded
Less than 2 weeks - no refund

Conditions
Booking Notes:
For low and mid season rentals securing deposit must be paid on time of booking this is 50% of the total booking cost.
For high and peak season rentals the deposit required is 25%.
All deposits are non refundable.
All rentals - the balance is to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of £300 is payable before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days after departure if the property has been left in an appropriate condition.
The quoted rates includes maid service with change of sheets & towels after 7 nights. The rental includes preparation of the villa also cleaning on departure and heating and/or air conditioning. All bed linen, bath and beach towels are provided.
The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve offers guaranteed sunshine, stunning countryside and coastline, excellent food and wine, UNESCO world heritage sites, lively historic villages, and as much activity as you want.
This area is particularly popular with golfers who enjoy an all year-round play in a fabulous climate. Further more, they have 30 high-class golf courses to choose from.
Other activities in the area include an array of watersports such as surfing and sailing or take a boat trip along the picturesque coast. Alternatively, head inland to hike in beautiful pine forests. The Serra de Monchique hill trails will reward you with stunning views as you make your way to the Algarve's highest point. Bring your own or hire bikes locally, whilst birdwatchers will enjoy an array of species. There's even horse trekking in the area for the equestrians.
For those who are after culture, The Algarve has a number of sites reflecting its history which includes Roman and Arab invasions. Medieval churches abound in the historical villages which often have colourful markets. The Tavira area is relatively untouched and remains typically Portuguese. Further more, along the coast there're picturesque islands and beaches waiting to be discovered.
All this plus a lush countryside full of peaceful olive groves, long-standing vineyards and farms which have been worked for generations.

As part of the UNESCO Ria Formosa bird sanctuary, there is a strict 8% building restriction.
The area between Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago, Almancil is referred to as the 'Golden Triangle'.

Faro airport is easily accessible. There are plenty of cheap flights from all local and international airports. To find the best price with ease, try using www.skyscanners.co.uk which compares the prices of all the airlines or www.terminala.pt.
The Villa is only 20 minutes away from the airport and will cost around €30 for a taxi.
We like to hire a car so that we can travel around and explore everything that the Algarve has to offer. Again there are lots of comparison websites for car hire companies. We tend to use www.travelsupermarket.com (Baby/child seats are available for hire). Europcar and Sixt are reliable, offer value for money and are well located at the exit of the airport. They provide maps free of charge and will help you locate Quinta do Lago. The Villa is really easy to find, however, if you're like me and get lost on the way to work, simply remember to head toward Almancil as Quinta do Lago is well sign posted from there. We will provide full instructions for you following your booking.
