The Brittany region

The property has been very well redecorated. The manoir is no longer lived in but the owner is always willing to show you around. This is a lovely rural location yet close to the excellent shopping centre in Pont L'Abbe, with some very expensive boutiques! The beaches are excellent and there is always lots of fresh fish landed at nearby Loctudy.

Guilvinec - Guilvinec owes its prosperity to crayfish and lobsters, and it has remained an important fishing port, the fourth largest in France.

The whole economy of the district, from fish auctions and canneries to naval dockyards, is dependent on the sea. A sight not to be missed is the return of the trawlers at about 4 p.m. every day.
