PLEASE BRING TOWELS FOR THE BEACH
Please DON'T leave the air con on during the day with windows/doors open, its not cheap to run and I don't want to be putting up my prices to cover this cost. We keep shutters down in day and use air con to cool the bedrooms in the evening before going to bed.
The Costa Blanca/Valencia region
So why the Costa Blanca?
For years now the Costa Blanca has enjoyed a sustained popularity that other resort areas can only envy. The reasons for this popularity are simple, miles of sandy beaches, the best climate in Europe and an infrastructure that caters for both the holidaymaker and the ever - increasing ex-pat community.
This coastline is also a great place to live. It has facilities that match the most sophisticated cities and regions in Europe, with regard to its shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
You would struggle to play all the golf courses, the majority of which are to an international standard along with unrivalled water sports facilities to test even the most adventurous water sport enthusiasts. Accessibility is a key factor and thanks to the new "budget" airlines there are numerous scheduled flights to and from the UK and the rest of the world.
The Costa Blanca has been declared by the World Heath Organisation as almost as perfect an environment as it is possible to find. Almost any fruit can be grown here, the Orange, Lemon and Olive groves, fruit orchards and market garden produce the highest quality of fresh fruit and vegetables which form the basis for the highly nutritious renowned Mediterranean diet.
In Spain, you will meet friendly, helpful people who value family life. Spanish people love life and seem to have mastered the way to live it to the full.
The Costa Blanca delights in 320 days of sunshine each year. Even in winter the temperature rarely drops below 15°C. The stress free way of life, dry climate and natural salt lakes of the area are beneficial for conditions such as heart problems, rheumatism, arthritis and asthma. Spain has reciprocal health care with the UK National Heath Service. This really is one of the healthiest and happiest places to live, The Costa Blanca has so much to offer, everything from typical tourist resorts to quaint country villages with their traditional white houses.
