Fabulous luxury 4 bed villa
Villa Murillo is a stunning luxury villa situated in the exclusive Prialsur area of Quesada. It has a light, airy contemporary feel and has been furnished to a high standard. From the terraces there are spectacular views over the lemon groves to the two salt lakes and the nearby Mediterranean. These terraces provide an ideal spot for sunset watching.
It is in a quiet and peaceful location yet is within walking distance or a short drive to all the amenities of the area. In Quesada there are numerous restaurants catering for a wide range of tastes - Thai, Indian, Chinese, Spanish, Greek etc. As well as this there are cafes and bars, supermarkets, banks, pharmacy and a garage.
Within a 3 km radius you will find superb blue flag beaches, award winning golf courses, an aqua park, and the 4 star La Laguna hotel with spa facilities.
There are local markets in the nearby typically Spanish towns of Guardamar and Rojales.
The villa would be an ideal base for a relaxing poolside holiday but would also suit those seeking to experience all the attractions which the area has to offer.

The Andalucia region
The southern part of the Costa Blanca enjoys over 3000 hours of sunshine annually. Many tourists find everything they need in the coastal resorts. However, the area has much more to offer - historic towns, superb scenery and inland a rural pace of life which has remained unchanged for centuries.
It has something for everyone: sun, sea and sand, fantastic food and drink, local markets, fiestas, National Parks and areas of natural beauty. The salt flats at Torrevieja and La Mata have more than 250 species of birds feeding on them and are designated natural parks. Torrevieja is also renowned for its beaches, sports facilities, restaurants and summer nightlife.
There are many interesting places to visit on a day out such as Alicante, Quadalest, Fonts de Algar, Cartagena, Elche, Murcia and not forgetting Benidorm, love it or hate it, it has got the formula right for visitors of every age.
Things to do in the area:
Golf - there are 8 courses within easy reach
Aqua parks in Rojales and Torrevieja
Rio Safari in Elche
In the summer months there are many fiestas, not to be missed are the Moors and Christians parades in Rojales and Guardamar which are followed by spectacular firework displays. Quesada has its own fiesta at the beginning of August.

"Great villa and pool, ideal for our family group"
Just returned from a fortnight at Villa Murillo. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly and on hand with local info folders about things to do and places to eat etc. Within 10 min walk there are a couple of snack abrs, pubs, and restaurants, and a few minutes drive there is the centre of Quesada where there are more options. I would say a car is essential for trips out, and certainly for the supermarket. Villa has lots of space, plenty furniture for large groups (which we had struggled with in previous accommodations!) and was well looked after. The pool is a great size and there were endless toys for the kids to mess around with in there too. Extra charges etc for cleaning apply but this is made clear before booking and on the website. We would recommend this villa to other family groups. Perhaps Quesada as a town was a little quieter than we hoped, but otherwise all very positive.

"Much needed rest in a glorious location"
After a fraught early summer in the UK, involving a fall from a tree and a broken back, Villa Murillo provided the perfect opportunity to recharge the batteries. Set in a pleasantly quiet area, but within very easy reach of bars, restaurants and beaches the property gave us everything we wanted. The pool is lovely, BBQ area ideal for lazy, leisurely evenings on the two occasions we were just too chilled to want to go out. The terraces offered lovely sunset views and an opportunity to take occasional refuge from the midday sun. The interior lived up to all our expectations; very clean and comfortable throughout. The owners were extremely helpful, making sure we settled in quickly and provided a lot of information on places to visit with recommendations on restaurants which were thoroughly enjoyed. A really great holiday.

"Fantastic villa with enough space for everyone to have a relaxing time."
We stayed in Villa Murillo for 10 sun-soaked days in early August and we loved every minute of it. For us, with our two-year old, and our friends with their two kids (one and three years old) the villa couldn't have been any better as it had everything we needed and the kids loved the pool. It was a bonus that the TV had UK channels so the kids could watch cbeebies, and the internet access was fast and reliable. The owners were brilliant; super helpful and even sorted us out with highchairs. They gave us loads of ideas for day trips and one we all liked a lot was the safari park in Elche, about 25 mins drive away. There are also quite a few beaches nearby but you do need a car to reach them. Plenty of space indoors and out and we took full advantage of the BBQ as we cooked for ourselves most nights. We even got a tasty Indian take away one night. Would definitely recommend going to a Wok Buffet one night too - we went to one near the golf course and it was great as you can chose your own ingredients and sauce etc and eat as much as you want. We all had a great time there and would definitely consider going again as it was all so easy.
