Beautiful spacious fully air-conditioned two bedroom apartment furnished to the highest standard. Varandas de Carteia is a brand new condominium located just two minutes walk from Quarteira's extensive golden sandy beach which stretches for miles in either direction.
This luxurious apartment is located on the 1st floor with seaside and pool views from its wrap around balcony. Complete with fully fitted and equipped kitchen, two separate bathrooms (one en-suite) and two nice sized bedrooms. There is a shared outdoor swimming pool with garden area and the apartment also has its own underground parking space.
With excellent access to the palm-lined seafront promenade where you can spend time relaxing with lovely walks along the seafront and enjoy the surroundings. It is ideally situated within easy walking distance of numerous shops, cafes, restaurants, playground & local markets along the promenade itself. Just 5 minutes drive from Vilamoura and its many golf courses making it an excellent choice for golfers.

The spacious bright and airy lounge come dining room is stylishly furnished with two leather couches (one double sofa bed), one single leather armchair, coffee table and two side tables, a flat screen TV (cable), DVD player, dining table and 6 chairs.

The balcony from the lounge has a teak table and 6 chairs where you can relax and enjoy your meal in the beautiful sunshine with sea views.
There are 6 sunbeds with mattresses in the apartment which can be used by clients at the pool.

There is a cleaning service once weekly consisting of changing of towels and quick clean which is included in the price.
Arrival and Departure Times:
The property will be available for occupation from 4.00pm local time on the agreed date. The hirer is responsible for vacating the property by 10.00am on the morning of departure.
Smoking is restricted to the Balcony.
Please bring your own beach towels.
Conditions
Booking Notes:
A 40% non refundable booking deposit is required in order to secure the booking. Balance to be paid 4 weeks before arrival. If the reservation is made 30 days before the accommodation period commences, payment in full will be required.
A further standard deposit of 200 euros will also be required for breakage and other damage. This will be refunded in full after the apartment and inventory have been checked.

Coast/Beach:
Just 2 mins walk from one of the most desirable beaches in the Algarve which is great for swimming. Enjoy fabulous views and easy access to the gorgeous blue flag beach. Take a leisurely stroll to Vilamoura along the beach front and take in the sights at the marina.
There are plenty of shops to browse in and an equal number of places to stop for a cool drink! The beach (Falésia) at the western side of Vilamoura carries on all the way to Olhos de Água next door to Albufeira!
The Quarteira / Fonte Santa area
Every Wednesday Quarteira has a big gypsy market that attracts visitors from all over the Algarve, so if you like to spot a bargain then this is for you!
Quarteira still boasts a local fishing community and the fishermen can be seen at work at the western end of the beach. The catches are sold at the nearby fish market early in the morning which you can walk to along the promenade.
There is also an excellent supermarket just across the road from the apartment with a fresh meat/cheese counter and fresh bread baked daily.

You can get flights to Faro from a large number of European Airports. There are direct flights from Belfast, Cork, Dublin and Shannon to Faro (Algarve) and most of the budget airlines fly into Faro.
The average flying time for most flights is around 2 hours 30 mins.
Transfers can be arranged to and from the airport by local taxi service. The apartment is only 30 mins drive from Faro Airport. Private taxi transfers are available upon request.

Excellent apartment fully equipt with everything you could wish for. Plenty of doors from the lounge and kitchen to access the large balcony. Pool always clean and ideal for young children as it is not very deep although deep enough for swimming. Excellent maid service after first week. Very central located. Two minutes walk from beach and in the other direction 2 minutes walk from supermarket which sells everything. Shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk and the centre about 15 minutes walk along the prom. |

We had a short break in this apartment but would have happily stayed longer. It was more spacious than the photos showed and very well equipped with absolutely everything you could need. It felt very comfortable, safe and secure, especially with the underground car parking space provided. The beach is just a short walk away and there is an excellent supermarket across the main road just behind the apartment block. In just a few minutes you can walk to the main beach-front promenade area where there are restaurants, snack bars and stalls that open up in the evening selling all kinds of things. We would love to stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend to others. |

Changeover Day:
Flexible. Generally you will be able to take possession of the apartment from 3 pm on the day of your arrival and will be expected to vacate at 10 am on day of departure, however we will try to accommodate early/late flights.
