Beautiful two bedroom apartment with balcony and stunning ocean views. English speaking meet and greet service with 24 hour contact. Rarely available beach front location ensuring a memorable holiday.

Our apartment is situated on the ocean front and within easy walking distance of the lovely restaurants and entertainment in Quarteira. Across the pedestrained walkway is the blue flag beach - you just couldn't be any closer to the sea! Large swimming pool also available.
You will enjoy the panoramic views of the ocean from the living /dining room, kitchen and both pretty bedrooms. Balcony to dine, sunbathe and enjoy a glass of wine whilst appreciating the magnificent views.

Full air conditioning, free wifi and Ipod Docking station.

Wonderful beachfront getaway for all ages.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

We bought our apartment knowing that the Algarve is famous for its good summers and mild winters. The beaches stretch for miles with calm seas and safe bathing. It's also known for golf and there are some amazing courses for all levels of golfers.

The wine is not as well known as Spanish wines but we feel it is better! There are lots of local wines to try at very inexpensive prices - ask your waiter to recommend if you are eating out. You must try the sardines - with a nice crisp white wine you can't go wrong!

Further afield there are lots of great places to explore. Faro Old Town is worth a visit, so is the village of Altes high up in the mountains - which is where I get all my pottery bargains!

The Quarteira area

Quarteira, originally a fishing village has developed into one of the Algarve's top destinations for families and couples holidays.
Its tree lined promenade and glorious beach mean you are spoilt for choice with great restaurants, coffee shops and evening entertainment.
The famous Gypsy market on a Wednesday morning is worth a visit as is the daily fish market where you can watch the fishermen unload their haul -you can't buy it any fresher!
Aquashow, a 5 minute drive has the longest water roller coaster in Europe and is a great day out. Or visit Zoomarine and swim with Dolphins.
Visit Sir Cliff Richards winery - local excursions are available.
Many water activities with boat trips, water skiing, parascending , nature trips to explore the islands and more.

Faro airport is 15/20 minutes from our apartment.
Hire a car or take a taxi , we provide full directions and our meet and greet English speaking service will be there on your arrival.

Cheap flights available from Monarch Arirlines: monarch.co.uk , EasyJet: easyjet.co.uk , First Choice: firstchoice.co.uk , British Airways: ba.com and Ryan Air ryanair.com.

Taxis are plentiful and cheap and can be found directly outside the airport. Expect to pay Euros 25 to the apartment.

Quartiera has all the amenities you will need for a super holiday but if you would like to explore the area we can provide details of a reputable car hire service that we use. Otherwise try Budget or Europ car.

“Dreaming of lying in bed and being able to look at the ocean then this is the apartment for you!” We had a lovely short break in this apartment in beautiful Quarteira recently.we travelled with a four year old and a ten month old baby. Both of them had a great time as the apartment had a lovely pool for use by the residents (gets quite deep in half of it for the more competent swimmers among you) just in front of our balcony and just beyond that outside the wall lay lay a footpath that led onto the beach. That's how wonderful the location of this apartment is --everything at your fingertips. It was perfectly safe for young children with stair gates and a perspex covering on the balcony. It was extremely spacious with kitchen, entrance hall, living room and toilet on the first floor and upstairs it had one ensuite double bedroom and next door a twin bedroom and beside that another bathroom. One had a choice of eating their breakfast at the kitchen table or the dining table in the large living room or our favourite spot at the table on the balcony overlooking the sea. When one turns right on leaving the apartment there is a lovely promenade that passes restaurants, shops, playgrounds etc. our daughter just loved the playground which was only a few metres away and where a large bouncing castle was erected every evening at dusk. She got to spend 15 minutes on that for a mere 2 euros every night. The prices in the restaurant were very reasonable compared to some of the other resorts e.g. Vilamoura and Albufeira where we have dined in the past. We will definitely return some day to this location again. It is ideal for families with young children or elderly people due to its very close proximity to the airport (less than 20 minutes taxi drive) and the apartment itself being in a nice quiet location at the end of the promenade and right next to the beach. All our dealings with the owner were excellent and we can't recommend this place to stay enough.

“A very nice break in Quarteira...” Just back from a great holiday staying in Oceanides in Quarteira. The apartment has everything a family would need for a self-catering break. Satellite TV and wifi allowed us to watch the Olympics whenever we wished. The apartment is literally yards from the beach and has a very clean and civilised pool. The agent used by the owner was very helpful and responsive at all times. The apartment was fully cleaned at the end of the first week and the towels changed 3 times. There is a medium sized supermarket approx 5 mins walk away, which I thought was very reasonable. If you are driving, you can choose between street parking or you can use the reserved space underground (plenty of revs to get up the ramp). Many thanks to Lynne and Gary.

“Fantastic!” Stunning appartment in an excellent location. Fully equipt with all that anyone could possibly need to enjoy a family holiday. I would highly recommend this appartment and plan to go back very soon.
