Qala / Qala Beach Village area
The rocky beach of Hondoq ir-Rummien has become a favourite spot for swimming and sunbathing, and Qala has a lovely pebble beach . From Qala, day trips are available to Comino Island and the Blue Lagoon. Water skiing, cycling walking, horse riding, snorkelling and swimming are among the activities on offer alongside the numerous historical sites on the island. walking distance good restaurant supermarket and few wine bars with tables outside in a nice small square. and fantastic views of the blue lagoon of comino island , se map for the nice location of Qala.
Olive produce is on the increase on the island and theres also a wine festival in Nadur staged on the last week-end in August. and carnival in February at nadur 5min by car
