In a lush estate with olive and pine trees, this apartment is the perfect choice for your holiday in Lesvos . The apartment combines the holiday comforts with the tradition of the island and is located just in front of the sea.
The Aegean Sea lying on your feet and the view of the small Turkish villages across the coast complete the beautiful scenery canvas. The property is situated in Charamida bay, in an olive green and traditional stone architectural area, just in front of the sea! It is a semi basement, two rooms apartment. Directly you enter to the kitchen, which is united with the living room. The kitchen and the living room are fully equipped, with all you may need! The bedroom has a double bed and closets and there is also a bathroom, with shower and vasin. he unique asset of the property, however, is its yard and its location just a few meters from the sea. At our yard you can drink coffee, eat breakfast or lunch and enjoy the nature, the dazzling view and relax under the sun! You can also try(out of charge of course) directly from our garden our tasty organic vegetables.
Charamida bay is located just 10km.from the airport of Mytilene and 5 km.from Loutra village.Loutra is a picturesque village with carved-stone houses and a beautiful square, along with folklore and great spiritual tradition. ?he village can provide you with whatever you possibly need: freshly-baked morning bread, a seven-day week mini market (12 hours per day) and many cafes serving traditional alcohol drinks and “meze” (small dishes of local cuisine). Also just in our villa's area there are many restaurants with local cuisine and spirits. Moreover less than 4 km.away is the Agios Ermogenis beach.Ermogenis is a beautiful cove with clear turquoise waters, a rocky shore, a white church and vivid blue paint details on adjacent buildings that create a scene reminiscent of the Cyclades. There are two small south facing beaches, separated by a rocky outcrop. You can park at the roadside under the trees, or drive down a short dirt track to a car park and here is a fish taverna with a shady terrace overlooking the glistening sea and a small fishing jetty. The iconic little church is a short walk away and its walls provide a shady picnic spot as well as further panoramic views. It is worth a look inside – there are modern paintings of saints and a fresco on the interior of the high dome.
The house is fully equipped with bed-linen and kitchen utensils along with some primary necessities, such as coffee, sugar, olive oil and spices.
Of course you can be supplied with whatever you may need after you have been in contact with us.
We can inform you about excursions and activities on request, in one of the most beautiful islands of the Aegean, Lesvos.
Lesvos is the third-largest island, after Crete and Evia, and has a picturesque and constantly changing scenery. To the west, the lunar-like plains give way to the long sandy beaches and salt marshes in the centre of the island, while in the east side dominate ever green forested mountains and thick olive groves.[around 11 million live trees.]
The town capital, Mytilini, is a vivid port which abounds in both ouzeris and nightlife. The island's accommodation is adequate and satisfactory enough, while the north coast town of Molyvos [Mythimna] with its much obliging treat, promises to meet every visitor's (email hidden)s old quaint and traditional houses stacked and pinned on winding lanes overlooking the sea, seem to have just popped out of a fairy tale. Lesvos also takes pride in its cultural attractions which vary from contemporary museums to Byzantine monasteries.
Lesvos is surely one of the most prosperous Greek islands thanks to both its touristic appeal and its local olive-oil production. These two assets along with its ouzo and wine produce make the island particularly famous worldwide.
The island of Lesvos has also to show a huge cultural legacy which dates back from the 7th century until nowadays. The musical composer Terpander, the poet Arion along with the Nobel Prize-winning poet Odysseas Elytis and primitive painter Theofilos are all of them indigenous personalities. The prominent philosophers Aristotle and Epicurus also used to have an academy here in Lesvos. However, Sappho seems to be the most distinguished Lesbian figure which, in turn, entrances and finally leads lesbians from all over the world to Scala Eressou, her seaside hometown, to the west of Lesvos.[630 B.C]
Lesvos never sleeps and that is because of the incessant life all year round which is instilled not only by the island's nature, but also by its university students who literally inundate the island while they enjoy a top quality education in University of Aegean.
