The Larnaca District
Larnaca is reputed to have been founded by Kittim, a grandson of Noah. Excavations dating from 2000BC make Larnaca the oldest inhabited settlement in Cyprus.
Ancient and modern sit side by side - something for everyone!
Pyla area
The ancient, quiet village of Pyla has an interesting history with a tower, cafes and small shops.
Watersports, quadbike and bicycle hire, bowling alley and dive centres are all available nearby for more energetic holidaymakers!
Various beaches are within easy distance by car, such as Agia Thekla for beauty and tranquillity, or Agia Napa for nightlife if required.
Traditional silverware, crafts, pottery and lace making are a particular attraction in the area.
How to get there
Monarch Airlines operate good, cheaper flights from Luton Airport.
Car rental services are available at Larnaca Airport. We recommend 'Stevens'.
