About the home

The charming, gated complex of Pyla Palms occupies a peaceful location overlooking the countryside on the edge of the tranquil, traditional village of Pyla. A quiet place to stay, there are only 89 apartments, guests return year after year due to the quality of the accommodation and the restful atmosphere. There is a pretty freeform pool with sunbathing area overlooking the fields.

A handy mini market and cafe are just around the corner, the village centre is about 10 minutes walk away and here there are a couple of tavernas, small bars, restaurants and grocery stores.

The Dhekelia Road is less than 5 minutes drive as is the sandy Blue Flag Larnaca Tourist Beach. There are many restaurants and bars along the Dhekelia Road to suit all tastes and budgets. Cosmopolitan Larnaca with its many beaches, restaurants and shops is 14km or 15 minutes by car.

The apartment itself is spacious with a lounge area, indoor dining and fully fitted kitchen with full size fridge freezer, oven and hob, dishwasher and all the items you need for self catering. The bedroom has a double bed and fully fitted wardrobes. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. The huge sun terrace has outdoor dining plus loungers for making the most of the beautiful Cypriot weather.

The Larnaca region

Larnaca has something for everyone - beautiful beaches, including the famous Phinikoudes Beach, a marina, delightful promenades lined with palm trees and an array of cafes, bars and restaurants over looking the sparkling Mediterranean sea.
There is also a good range of shops both Cypriot and British (Marks & Spencer, Debenhams) as well as an excellent choice of traditional and international restaurants.
The excellent road connections put Larnaca within easy reach of other resorts including Ayia Napa, Protaras and Limassol.

The Pyla area

Larnaca is a town with an easy-going pace and has strong links to the past.

In the heart of modern Larnaca one finds the remains of the ancient city - Kingdom of Kition. The Fort and the old quarters give the town its unique character. The nearby salt lake is a favourite stop over for thousands of migrating birds in winter such as flamingo's.

Every summer Larnaca hosts a festival of music and performing arts. Outdoor concerts take place in the courtyard of the medieval fort.

Local activities include many watersports and a fantastic centre for Diving.
