Larnaca is a changing area, witht he investment of extra money, Larnaca is becoming very cosmospolitian with a huge variety of shops, bars & restaurants. Larnac still hold s the traditional side which is why the tourists keep returning time after time. The promenade is quickly becoming the place tobe seen and is great for having a meal & drinks whilst people watching. The beach area is wonderful sand with gentle slopes into the water. In the eveing Larnaca again transforms offering vibrant nightlife without being crowded and too busy. Laranca still boasts 320 days of glorious sunshine too!

Pyla area

Larnaca is a town with an easy-going pace and has strong links to the past.

In the heart of modern Larnaca one finds the remains of the ancient city - Kingdom of Kition. The Fort and the old quarters give the town its unique character. The nearby salt lake is a favourite stop over for thousands of migrating birds in winter such as flamingo's.

Every summer Larnaca hosts a festival of music and performing arts. Outdoor concerts take place in the courtyard of the medieval fort.
Local activities include many watersports and a fantastic centre for Diving.

Lots of visitors head for the visit to St Lazarus Church which is always busy with the locals, Lefkara the lace making centre also offers tradtional values and not forgetting to mention the people of Cyprus always happy to welcome you, nothing is too much trouble.

How to get there

Flights into Larnaca International Airport. Numerous airlines including Cyprus Airways, Monarch, Thomson Fly, Fly Thomas Cook, and first Choice Flights various UK departure points.

Drive time is approx 20 minutes to Pyla by two routes, full directions are given.

Pyla beach front has a selection of both international and Cypriot restaurants each with their own speciality dishes, to suit most culinary preferences & budgets.

There are a good selection of local bar's and cafe's who are welcoming of both local and tourist trade.
