The Larnaca District
Larnaca is a great place to visit with its own marina and delightful promenade lined with Palm trees. It offers a selection of Cafes, Bars and Restaurants overlooking the beach area, an ideal place to catch up with old or newer friends, which taking in the spectacular views.
More designers shops are being introduced for those 'must have items' when your on holiday.
Larnaca offers a good range of entertainment, with main route links to all parts of Cyprus where history and relaxation go hand in hand. It truly has something for everyone of all ages.

Pyla area
Larnaca is a town with an easy-going pace and has strong links to the past.
In the heart of modern Larnaca one finds the remains of the ancient city - Kingdom of Kition. The Fort and the old quarters give the town its unique character. The nearby salt lake is a favourite stop over for thousands of migrating birds in winter such as flamingo's.
Every summer Larnaca hosts a festival of music and performing arts. Outdoor concerts take place in the courtyard of the medieval fort.
Local activities include many watersports and a fantastic centre for Diving.
Troodos Mountain is a definate visit to take in the breath taking views & for extra tradition visit Lefkara where the older generation ladies still amke the hand made lace. Nicosia offers a vast variety of busy city life whilst still offering great shopping opportunites.
How to get there
Flights into Larnaca International Airport. Numerous airlines including Cyprus Airways, Monarch, Thomson Fly, Fly Thomas Cook, XL airways, and first Choice Flights various UK departure points.

Drive time is about 20 minutes to Pyla by two routes, full directions are given.

The Village of Pyla is just a short 5 minute walk away - here you will find a traditional selection of bars, restauranst & supermarket for the essential items. There is a lovely sandy beach which is both safe for children and has the added activities of a range of water sports approx 5 minute drive away. Pyla front has a selection of both international and Cypriot restaurants each with their own speciality dishes, to suit most culinary preferences.
There are a good selection of local bar's and cafe's who are welcoming of both local and tourist trade. The water park at Ayia Napa is apprx 15 mintues drive and is a great family fun day out.

We were really surprised at the size of the studio, really modern and bright, we had a real fun time & loved chatting to the locals in the village - Food at the village tavern was great - we are both now on diets - Angela & Phillip Moore.
